Ashley was momentarily puzzled. She then slid the screen and answered, “Hello?”
There was a brief silence on the other end before Jeremy’s restrained voice came through. “Ashley, it’s me. When are you going to unblock me?”
Ashley was momentarily speechless. She then lowered her phone and glanced at it.
She thought in annoyance, ‘Really, Jeremy? Getting a new number just to call me?‘
Jeremy continued, “Ashley, I saw the news today. Did you sign with Royal Entertainment? Where are you staying now? Did you have a place to stay after leaving the Ramos Villa, or are you really with the Kingsley family…”
Not wanting to deal with him anymore, Ashley abruptly ended the call.
