“I’m actually pretty scared,” said Becky.
She put away her smile, adding, “What I’m afraid of is that they won’t gossip.”
As the two locked eyes, Salena felt her eyes welling up with tears.
Since getting married to Sigmund, Becky had become much more subdued.
In order to not embarrass Sigmund, no matter what others said about her, she kept smiling.
Seeing Becky so full of confidence after all this time made Salena really happy. She was even looking forward to seeing what would happen at the party later.
When they were almost at the destination, Salena took Becky into a styling shop.
The two of them entered the changing room first to change their clothes.
Becky had to admit that Salena had great taste. Red really complemented her skin and coupled with the close–fitting cut. It made her look very noble and glamorous.
The skin exposed outside was pure. Even without makeup, she shone like a goddess who had come to the world.
Becky unconsciously looked at her belly through the mirror. It had only been four or five weeks, so there was no visible change. Her lower abdomen was still flat.
However, she still gave up high heels and switched to flat shoes.
