Summary
The memory of her intense gaze still lingers with me; she was fierce, determined, and her piercing eyes alone shook my confidence. Despite my reputation as the top swordsman, Arden had me disarmed and on my back in seven moves with the tip of her sword at my throat. After that day, no one dared tease or ridicule her again, and I was officially, completely, and utterly smitten.
