Chapter Twenty Three

Delaney, Elizabeth, Rachel and Aunica looked around them as the cabin shook. “What was that?” Delaney asked. “It felt like there was an earthquake.”

Elizabeth and Rachel looked at Delaney. “What’s happening?” Rachel asked. Even she could tell that it wasn’t a normal earthquake. The lights went out in the building and it became very quiet.

The door then blew open. The four girls spun around and they all took a step back. There was a dark robed figure there with Black Hands standing behind the figure. The dark robed figure pulled back the hood. All four girls gasped. It was Emily.

“Emily?” Rachel asked in a small voice. “What happened to you?”

Emily looked at Rachel. “I was exposed to the truth.” Emily told Rachel. “I am not just Emily. I am also Seraphina and the Dark Lady.” The Dark Lady raised her hand to the four girls and made a vision appear before them.

Gabriel and Seraphina having a child together. The child was crying. “Hide her Gabriel.” Seraphina said. “If all else fails, her line will bring about the end of the Darkness.” Gabriel looked at the baby before looking back at Seraphina and nodded.

Throughout the years, the child’s line would appear and disappear. Each time one of the descendants appeared, she was an exact copy of Seraphina. Gabriel knew that she was really Seraphina and that it was a test to see if the final fight would come.

“I have finally returned to this world and it belongs to me.” The Dark Lady told them. “Now kneel before your ruler.”
