"Zuriyin! Lyall! Get back here!" Leuko shouted.

She rushed toward the passage and transformed into a mass of black and white gases. Then, Leuko went after the children.

An immense amount of Hongrome Light radiated from his body when Stephen was about to chase after them. The light trapped him on the spot.

"What... What's going on?"

At that moment, Stephen could see numerous beings shoot up the passage. Their terrified screams rang briefly as they passed through the Great Historial Land.

"Good lord..." Stephen gasped. "How terrifying! This sword light could actually pierce through the Spiritual Providence.

"It seems another great challenge has come upon US again."

Stephen threw his head back and yelled desperately, "Master! Where are you? Why aren't you back yet?"

Meanwhile, several forms appeared in the distance and teleported toward Stephen.

When they got near enough, Stephen could see that they were Zeux, Beatrice, Zenda, Lord Yarrowvale, and Lord Xephyr. These men were top cultivators who received the spiritual Providence from James and carried the responsibility of protecting the different realms.

The group of them were following along the mysterious passage of light to investigate it.

To their surprise, they found Stephen curiously stuck to a spot, unable to move.

"Hongrome Child, what's happened to you?" Zeux asked.

"I'm not sure, but I can't move all of a sudden," Stephen replied anxiously," You need to hurry and destroy the passage!

"It's devouring the living beings nonstop. If this goes on, it'll wipe out all living beings. I won't be able to face my master if that happens."

Zeux turned his eyes to the others. All five of them reached the same understanding with a simple glance.

They lifted their hands and performed their best signature skills, blasting their powers at the passage of light almost simultaneously.

"Stop." Herodias called out to Zeux's group, "Don't you find the aura coming from the passage oddly familiar?"

Zeux and the others stopped attacking the passage as soon as they heard Herodias' words.

Yegor furrowed his brows. "Are you saying that he's back?"

"It does feel like his aura!" Rebella's voice shook slightly. "Perhaps it is time for him to return."

"Stop it, you guys." Truett rolled his eyes. "If it really was James, why would he devour so many living beings? He's the Divine Emperor, you know."
