Chapter 40

Camryn's POV

I let out a groan. My body felt heavy and tired. I felt exhausted.

'What did I ever do to feel this way? I was just talking to his mom and then..?'

My mind recalls what had happened to me.

Then my wolf emerges.

"Camryn, I think we had done something and I can feel it in my bones that it was extraordinary.."

Opening my eyes, I saw that I was now in his bedroom. I turn my head towards the window.

The sun was now up. Does it mean it's already morning?

But? I remembered I had a conversation with his mom and then suddenly I felt pain.

"And that's when we walk out to his room and look for him.." continued my wolf.

'And we found him in the dungeon.'

"We saw the rogues there Camryn! They were in deep pain. Their heart was full of misery and hatred."

'Then what did we do?'

"I'm not sure. But I just felt their agony and then something in me fired up! My heart---your heart, can't bear it to see them like that! To feel all their heartaches! I sighed. I don't know what happens to me. And now my head hurt thinking all of this again.

'Okay wolf, don't stress yourself too. We'll just figure it out later.'

Then I felt her go back to the back of my mind. Curled up into a ball and rested.

While I tried to sit up from the bed and leaned my back on the headboard then the door swung open.

I turn to see it was my mate walking inside behind him were two shewolf both holding a tray.

"Hey, mate. How are you feeling?" He gently said and walk up to me.

He brought his hands to touch my face and again kiss me all of a sudden!

'I think I should get used to this. Him kissing me out of nowhere!'

I shush myself before he even read my mind.

Though I admit, I love it when he kisses me. Every time he would kiss me, I always forget all of my doubts about being his mate.

"I brought you some breakfast. I wanted us to have breakfast outside but maybe some other time. You need more rest so we'll just have to eat here in the meantime."

He turn his head to the side and ordered the shewolf to put down the tray at the table across the bed and they bowed down before leaving.

I felt my cheeks burn up when I remembered he had kissed me infront of the two shewolf!

He stand up from the bed and took the tray of food while I cleared my head before he would notice what was inside this dumb head!

Then he sat down beside me and set down the tray in the bed and started to feed me.

I was reluctant at first for him to feed me for I can eat on my own but he insist and with his stubbornness in the end I couldn't argue anymore and I just let him feed me.

He had made sure that I had eaten up all of the food in the tray. Complaining that my body was so weak and that I weigh just like a feather!

I had never been this full in my entire existence!

I felt like my stomach was going to explode from too much food! And then the most embarrassing and shameful thing that I did was I had let out a long and loud burped infront of him!

I had never been more gross in myself! My face all burn up from the shame that I did!

And he laughs. He laughed at me!

It was so embarrassing and unmannered of me to do that infront of the King of werewolves!!

I am insane now!

He had just laughed that off and pulled me into a tight embrace. Then he tucked me back in the bed and told me to just lay here and get some more rest.

I had the best sleep ever. I stretched my arms and legs to circulate the blood flow in my body. Standing up from the bed, I saw a dress neatly folded beside the bed. I look down at my body to see that I was still wearing his shirt and so I pick up the dress and head my way to the bathroom.

Wondering where is the bathroom. This room was big! I first walk into the door on the left corner of the room just a few steps from the bed and as I open the door it was his walk-in closet! I abruptly close the door and walk my way to another door across the room. And thank Goddess it was the bathroom! Walking inside it was also a huge one. There was a huge luxury bathtub across from me. I turn my head to the left and there was a big mirror on the wall, across from it was the shower I think. So, I hastily walk inside it and got myself a warm nice shower.

Once I was done, I took a last glance at myself in the mirror and decided to go out of his bedroom.

At first, I was not sure if I should go out of this room. Can I handle myself out of this room? Am I ready if someone talks to me? And ask me who I am and why am I here.

I heaved a deep sigh and conditioned myself, especially my mind. For there were so many things and doubts running inside this brain of mine but my heart was pushing it all away!

But having enough rest now, I decided to go out.

Closing the door behind me, I took in a deep breath and started to walk away from his bedroom. With no idea where I would go, I just let my feet wander around.

The day I tried to escape here, it was nighttime and so I have never seen clearly what the castle looks like.

And now, I was mesmerized by the things around me. To the floor, the walls and up to the ceiling, everything around here was full of elegance.

I had never thought that I would be here in the castle and most of all be mated to the Alpha King.

I walk up to the window beside me and look outside.

It was a beautiful sight to see. Everything around here even outside was all beautiful.

I suddenly felt sad. Everywhere I look at where all pleasing to the eyes.

And when I look out the window, I see my reflection from it. And I felt like I don't fit in here, that I was the only one doesn't belong here.

"What does a beauty like you doing here?"

I was startled by the massive voice I heard behind me. I turn away from the window and I was surprised to see a huge man glaring at me.

I felt a bit terrified of this man. He was so tall and had a bulky large body. His muscles are all on display and I had to look up to him to see his face.

But quickly I glance my eyes down, I didn't know him and so I should lower my eyes or else I might disrespect him.

"What are you doing here?" He speak to me once again I didn't know what will I say.

"Who are you by the way? You're new here?" He ask again and took one step towards me. My heart beat faster as I saw his feet walking up to me.

"Don't be scared, I don't bite!" Then he laugh in his massive voice and my heart jumped at the sound of it.

'What should I do? What am I going to say?' I said to my wolf but she was still having her nap 'Hey, wolf wake up!'

"Are you lost? Well, this castle is huge, if you're not familiar with the hallways here you will get lost. I can help you. I can show you around or the way out."

I was freaking inside and didn't notice he had walked up to me and was about to reach his hand to me when a low growl resounds behind him.

"She doesn't need any of your help. She is not lost. She is in the right place where she should be."

I slowly look up behind this giant man and saw my mate.

The man turn around to face him and chuckled.

"My Alpha King" then he bowed down before continuing "I was just trying to help this beautiful shewolf here" Then he gestured his hands to me "I thought she is lost and you do know, a man like us is--"

"Enough!"

I cringed at his loud harsh voice, shutting off the man infront of him.

Then my mate walks past him and stands beside me. The man was curiously looking at him.

He reaches his hand to my hair at my shoulder and put it away from my neck.

The man's eyes went wide upon seeing the mark on my neck and quickly he cast his eyes down.

"My apologies, Alpha King" Clearly now he knows that I was his Alpha King's mate "I didn't... I really don't--"

"Now, you know" my mate speak again, cutting him off "Samuel, I want you to meet your Luna Queen."

My eyes widen at what he said. My heart rapidly beating fast and I felt my palms suddenly sweating.

Then he looks down at me.

"My mate."

My heart flutters when he said I was his mate. His hands grab my waist and pulled me close to him.

"It is my greatest pleasure to meet your mate, Alpha King," Samuel said.

I turn to him to see him kneeling.

"Welcome to the castle, my Luna Queen. I am grateful to know that the Alpha King had already found our Luna Queen."

I was about to walk up to him and tell him that he doesn't need to kneel before me. And I am not used to this! Kneeling or bowing down to me? I am nowhere an important wolf to be bowed down but my mate quickly stopped me. Gripping his hands tighter on my waist.

Upon his touch, my wolf woke up and was now jumping up and down inside my head. Calling his mate.

"You may now leave" he sternly said to Samuel.

Samuel quickly stand up and bowed down once again before turning his back and silently walking away.

"Our mate is very powerful! Look at that huge man! He has a massive body yet he was frightened towards our mate!" Purred my wolf.

'Well, hello? He is the Alpha King!'

"Just because of his title, doesn't mean he is not strong! He is stronger and more powerful than that awful wolf!" My wolf huffed at me annoyingly and I just shrugged her off.

'Whatever!'

In the spur of the moment I was slammed against the wall and I look up to see my mate leaning down to me, his arms at my side caging me in.

He dipped his head at my neck and inhaled deeply.

"I'm going to cut his head off if he dares to touch what is mine" he dangerously said and I shivered from his voice.

He was truly a dangerous one but seeing him be feared by another wolf, was seductively damn hot! A heat started to spread down at my core and I moan from his hot breath that tickled my skin.

A low growl bubbled from his chest and he gripped his hands at my waist pulling my body closer to him.

Jolts of electricity course through my whole body.

He kiss his mark on my neck and lick my skin up to my throat while his hand cupped my breast and I moan from his touch. He continue to nip and sucked my skin and his hand kept kneading my bossom. My body trembled in need and wants more of his touch. I closed my eyes hard to the sensation he was giving. My hand instantly grabs his shoulder to hold on to him. I felt like my body would fall. I felt weak under his touch.

My wolf flirtingly purred inside me, howling to our mate. She was pushing me to give in to our mate.

But then I open my eyes, remembering that we are not in his room and that someone might catch us doing something like this!

Hastily, I cleared my throat and push myself steadily.

"You have to stop now.." I whispered to him, my voice came out shaky and hoarse "Someone might see us.."

His hand stopped from cupping my breast and I sensed him take in a deep breath before pulling away from me.

"Next time you leave the room, inform me. I don't want to find you gone again in my room and don't even know where to find you."

He looks into my eyes deeply and put his hand around my neck, his fingers caressing my skin.

"You make me crazy. And I will lose my mind if I find you gone where I had left you. Understand, Love?"

I nod my head to him in response. Then he holds out his hand to me and I reluctantly put my hands from his.

"Dinner will be served soon. We will have dinner with my parents."

I silently nod my head to him and prayed that I would do just fine especially infront of his father.

The former Alpha King of the werewolves.

For I had already met and talked to his mother which I felt relief and comfortable to be with.

And I hope that his father would be the same as his mother.

With trembling legs and a nervous heart that thumped louder in my ears, I let him lead the way.
