POV Rasheed:

“I was asking if you are finished with your meal so I can show you around the pack grounds and to your rooms.” She asks.

“Yes, I am finished I will follow you wherever you go.”

Dumb, did I just say that?

She blushes profusely and it is the most adorable thing I have ever seen.

“She’s red as a tomato Rasheed, stop embarrassing the girl by hitting on her.” My dad says.

She starts by showing us around the pack house and where we will be staying. It’s a normal, but large pack house I must say. She leads us to the back yard which opens to a huge pool for the high ranked families, they have a large pool house as well. Dad stays back and enjoys some beers with Alpha Anton, which is fine by me.

We continue the tour; I just can’t keep my eyes off her, the way her ass sashays when she walks, the way her lips pout when someone comes running up and interrupts our tour. We walked past a house that looked like another small house. Curiosity got the best of me and, I ask what it is.

“Oh, that’s our club house, our dad built it when Aaron and I were younger, and the triplets hang out there now.” She sounds so sad when speaking about it.

“Can you show it to me?”

“No!” She shuts me down quickly. “I apologize your highness, it’s just that I don’t go in there anymore” she says.

It was very awkward, but we continued on the tour. As we were nearing the end of it, she stops in front of the pack hospital. “I will call an Omega to take you back to the pack house now, I have some matters to deal with here. It was lovely to meet you and I look forward to our chat tomorrow.” She says with a bright smile that doesn’t reach her eyes.

“If you don’t mind, I would love a tour of the pack hospital. You seem to have a bond with this place.” I state.

“Um ok” She looks a little annoyed, but also so cute.

We walk in and they all bow to us. She is showing me each floor of the hospital were on the fifth floor and she tells me this is the orthopedic floor and it’s her favorite. She tells me she wants to be an orthopedic surgeon. She pushes the elevator button down, but we have not seen the last floor and I wonder why.

“What’s on the sixth floor?” I ask.

“Oh, it’s the mom and baby floor, and the NICU, you don’t want to hear all those ladies screaming, do you?” She seems a little nervous.

“It’s ok I don’t mind; I would love to see the new pups.”

I can tell something is off with her. She has become very silent and fidgety in the elevator. We arrived on the sixth floor, and we walk right into Labor and delivery. She was right these ladies have some lungs.

I chuckle and imagine what it would be like when Gianna has my pups… Wait what. Where did that come from. Zane snickers in my head. He hasn’t been this happy around a woman ever not even Octavia. The delight he has when I mentioned pups with Gianna stirred him awake.

“She is quite beautiful I must say” Zane says.

Returning my focus on Gianna, she takes me over to where the babies are. They are all so tiny, but they bring a smile to my face.

“What is the NICU?” I ask.

“That’s the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. It is where the premature and very sick pups are. We also take our abandoned pups here if there are any. You have to gown up when you go in there, so it is best if we don’t go in.” She calmly tells me.

It’s something she is not telling me. What is it? It’s

gnawing at me and once again my curiosity takes over.

“Let’s have a look, I have never heard of a NICU before, I am curious. Can you teach me how to put everything on?” I ask. Uncertainty crosses her face and I want to know why she is so standoffish about showing me this part of the hospital.

“Ok fine” she says with some sass.

“You put the gown on first then your gloves. I will help tie your gown in the back.”

I put my gown on then my gloves the way she instructed me to. She comes up behind me and I feel her breast brush against my back, tingles erupt where she touches. An uncontrolled smile appears on my face. She finishes tying the gown and proceeds with putting hers on. She takes a deep breath and presses the intercom.

“Yes, how may I help you?”

“It’s Alpha Gianna, here to see my pup.”
