*Carla’s P.O.V
I woke up hearing a sound
Beep
Beep
Beep
It felt like the room around me was spinning. I tried to get up but my back hurt
"Hey you're awake" a voice said
It was Eric
"Where am i?" I asked. My voice sounded hoarse and cracked
"The pack hospital"
"What happened?”
"You passed out”
An old man, who I'm guessing is the doctor judging from his lab coat came in with Damien behind him.
"Ah, you're awake" the man smiled
"Who are you?" I questioned
"I'm Doctor Jomar"
See..I'm correct
"oh"
"When was the last time you ate?" He asked me
"i-i-i-l can't remember"
"Your body is suffering from malnutrition. Some of your bones are broken. Care to explain?" Well i could tell you that I constantly get bullied in school which sometimes leads to me getting beat up plus
the abuse i face at home but we aren't ready for that discussion yet, are we? I would sound even more pathetic than I already do.
"I have nothing to say" I whispered
"Well, eat right and exercise you'll be fine"
"Thank you sir
Doctor Jomar and Eric left the room, leaving me alone with Damien. He did not look happy at all. He looked infuriated.
I didn't know what to do so I fiddled with my fingers
"Uh hi" I awkwardly said
"Why Carla?"
The way he says my name......no I shouldn't be thinking about this now
"Why what alpha?"
"Why don't you eat. Do you want me to look mean and heartless?"
I looked down. He isn't bothered about me. He's bothered about his image.
"No alpha"
"Why then?"
"I'm used to not eating that's all"
He shook his head
"You can have your room back now, I think you've been in the dungeon enough”
"Thank you alpha"
"You've learnt your lesson haven't you"
"Yes alpha"
"Plus the fainting spell you did was really good. I knew you could dance..never knew you could act too. I'm not going to fall for that"
My face dropped
"Have a nice day"
He walked out
