Chapter 3
After a long day of school, i finally got home in one piece.
I hummed as I did my math homework on my bed.
“Carla! I heard my mum call me
"Coming!" i responded
I quickly rushed downstairs to the kitchen. Rachel was leaning on the counter dressed in a bra and shorts painting her nails
My mum was standing folding her arms
"You called me" I said bowing my head
"Yes I have something to tell you both”
Rachel groaned
"Please let it not be stupid" she said
"I need you two to get prepared as quickly as possible. Alpha Damien, your father's rival is coming over for dinner to resolve their conflict"
Rachel's eyes widened. She dropped her nail polish on the counter in surprise
"Oh my gosh” she gasped "Alpha Damien? ...the alpha of the Silver Moon pack?’
"The one and only” my mum replied with a smile
She squealed
"Um who's Alpha Damien?" I asked. I've never heard of the man
"The toughest alpha in the state” my mum answered
"I heard he’s totally hot" Rachel said
"I'm gonna go get ready” she said before dashing up the stairs with speed.
I was about to leave until my mum called me back
"Carla"
"Yes?"
"Don't mess things up”
I slowly nodded then went upstairs to my room.
I shut the door and went to the bathroom to freshen up a little. 10 minutes later I was done
I started doing my hair. A few minutes later I overheard my sister on the phone. Our rooms were nearby each other. All I could hear her say was
IKR!
'I'm so excited. Alpha Damien is coming over to my house tonight
'Yes the alpha Damien, alpha of the Silver Moon Pack’
'l can't believe it either’
'Yeah I gotta go, he'll be here any minute. I'm not yet done with my make up’
“Okay’
Bye’
I went to my closet and pulled out a tight short blue gown. I put it on and looked at myself in the mirror. I smiled to myself, pleased with my appearance for once. I put on white flats then let my hair down.
'Carla, Rachel get down here*
I ran downstairs
“Coming mom’ I heard Rachel say
I went to the dining area. A man was facing my dad, his back to me, I couldn't see his face. All i could see from behind is the fact that he's very muscular and tall. I felt tiny compared to him. "This is my daughter Carla” my dad said
As soon as he turned around my wolf whispered one word, one syllable, four letters
"Mate..."
