TWENTY SEVEN.

Zachary,

Suddenly my mate turned her back at the sight of me.

What's wrong? I ask myself why looking at my mate.

My body is aching and I don't know why. I can't even move properly.

"Oh Zachary. Go, go take a bath.” she mumble and pushed me inside.

"Love, wait for me." I say when she’s about to close the door and she stare at me for a minute. "Hmm" she mumbles before shutting the door.

Her small gestures and all are making me fall even more for her.

I shave the hairs on my face before taking a quick bath. As soon as I walk out of the bathroom I saw her sitting at the sofa and her eyes closed. My clothes are neatly placed on top of the bed.

I slowly walk towards our bed and wear them before waking my mate.

"Love, come lay down with me." I say and she open her eyes and a smile visible in her face.

"I still have things to do, you can---" I stopped her.

"Please don't leave me." I whisper and wrap my hands around her.

"Ahm, I still have things to do, * she mumbles.

"Please stay." I sigh, she then nod and pull me towards our bed.

I put my face at the crook of her neck and she really does smell so good.

"So cold.” I mumble.

"You okay?" she asks but I didn't say a word. She put her hand in top of my forehead down to my neck and I hear her gasp.

"Zachary, please look at me. Oh my God, wait, I'll get you a med---"

"Please don't leave me, just stay here.” I whisper and she stares at me. "Please" she then wrap her hand around my torso and close the gap between the both of us.

"Thank you." I say. Her hand slowly caresses my back making me fell into a deep sleep.

Chloe,

After making sure that he already slept, I slowly move out of our bed and walk outside our room where I accidentally meet Harry.

"Harry, can you link doctor Rain to come and check Zachary." I say and he look confused "I think he catch a cold.” I added before he nodded and he mind link him.

"I notified him just now Luna Chloe, is Alpha Zachary alright?" he asks.

"I'm not sure, but he surely will be alright." I smile and the both of us walk inside and I went beside Zachary who's still sleeping.

"Right. Yes. Of course. Thank you doctor Rain" I mumble and he nod in response.

"Harry and James?" I say and the three of them walked out of the room.
