The two of them arrived at a nearby restaurant. Just as they sat down, Hannah turned to Britory and said. “Heard you moved, huh?*

The cat was out of the bag. Isaac’s true identity had been exposed. Hannah was in the loop. She knew she couldn’t run from it.

Hannah kept apologizing. “I didn’t know about you and Mr Salter at first. Not until you were in the hospital.

Brittany was idly tracing the rim of her glass. She couldn’t blame Hannah. Even though Hannah had kept things from her, she knew Hannah didn’t do it out of malice

“Alright. Let’s drop this.”

Hannah grabbed the menu and patted her chest, “Tonight’s on me. Order whatever you like.”

Brittany didn’t hold back and ordered a load of dishes. They chatted and dined, and the atmosphere was buzzing.

Harrah wanted to inquire about her future plans, but since Brittany didn’t bring it up, she refrared from doing so.

After they had their fill, Brittany yawned and followed Hannah out of the restaurant.

Just as they stepped out, Hannah spotted a man standing outside.
