Chapter 476

There was a buzz of noise on Isaac Salter’s end of the line, his voice was low, “Alright, block the internet signal. We don’t want any news popping up that shouldn’t.”

“Got it.”

After the bodyguard left and returned, he had the workers set up a TV, then turned to Brittany and said, “Ma’am, you’ll be able to watch TV tonight, rest

up.”

Brittany replied contently. “Alright”

At Salter Manor.

Grace Salter looked at Shona Bennett being led through the door, then at Isaac, her eyes wide in surprise, Zac, what’s the game here?”

Shona was all smiles, handing a gift to the old lady, “Grace, happy holidays.”

Grace didn’t even give her a glance and looked at Isaac, gripping her cane tightly. “Zac, what’s the game here?”

He was a married man. Why was he bringing another woman, Shona, home?

Especially after Brittany had a miscarriage?

Isaac gestured for Shona to sit down, his voice grave, I’ve made up my mind, I plan to get engaged to Shona as soon as possible.” The sound of a slap echoed.

It was Grace that angrily slapped Isaac. Her palm was burning.

“Isaac, are you out of your mind!?”

He was going to get engaged to Shona?

Then what about Brittany?

“Grace… Shona was startled.

She’d heard about Grace’s strong personality before. Grace was even more influential in her youth. Shona was then seeing it firsthand.

Isaac took the slap without anger, simply repeating his statement.

‘I’ve started preparing You, as an elder, need to attend the engagement party

Grace, trembling, pointed a finger at Isaac and said, “Isaac, is this fawr to Bri? She’s still in the hospital. If you get engaged to Shona, what will Bri do?” She continued, ‘Bri just lost a child; instead of comforting her, you’re thinking about getting engaged to another woman. What’s happened to you?”

Grace felt her heart aching. She was trembling with anger!

“Bri and I never officially married.”

“What do you mean?” Grace was shocked and confused.

What did he mean by that statement?

“When I ‘married Bri, it was a fake marriage. He paused. The marriage certificate, I forged it.

The sound of another slap echoed!

“Bastard Grace lashed out.

“Even if it was a fake marriage, you’ve been together for so long, how could you do something like this at such a crucial time?”

Isaac lowered his head, signaling Nathan Jarvis.

‘From today on, no one is to enter or leave Salter Manor.”

Grace was furious, “Isaac, are you trying to lock me up?”

How could he have changed so much? He was even turning his hand against his own grandmother!

“Grandma. Isaac looked at Grace solemnly and said, “I just don’t want you to ruin my engagement party. Don’t worry, I’ll come and spend the holiday with you

Grace was shaking with rage, “Get out!”

Without another word, Isaac left with Shona

They ran into Noel Salter, who had just driven home, “Bro?”

Noel had been busy with work around that time, but decided to return home after receiving a call from his grandmother.

Unexpectedly, he ran into Isaac and a strange woman.  Sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ FɪndNøvel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

“She’s my fiancée, Shona”

Noel was confused, “What’s going on?”

He asked, “Bro, aren’t you already married to Brittany?” Noel had seen the news. He had no idea that Brittany, the woman he was fond of, was actually his sister-in law!

“If you’re getting engaged to her, what about Brittany?”

Noel thought of Brittany

She seemed to really like his brother.

Isaac noticed something off in Noel’s tone, his eyes narrowed, “Do you know her?”
