Brittany tidied up some stuff, shut the studio’s door, and headed over to Isaac, opening the car door
“How long have you been waiting?”
“Just got here” Isaac pointed at the seat belt “Buckle up, please.”
“Thanks for picking me up” Brittany said softly, “How about we take Grandma out for dinner tonight?”
She wanted to use the opportunity of Grace’s visit to treat her to some good meal.
“Grandma doesn’t really dig eating out.”
Brittany mistakenly thought that Grandma didn’t like socialang or dining out.
Truth was, Grandma didn’t want to be a burden to Issac, so that was the excuse she used
“There’s a decent restaurant nearby, let’s ask Grandma what the thinks.”
Back at the apartment, Grace was all fired up about going out for dinner. She wanted Mexican food, changed her clothes, and was ready to go.
Isaac looked at her coldly “Grandma, you can’t eat spi cy food”
Grace dramatically responded, Fine, if you won’t let me eat, I won’t. I just watch Bri eat and starver
“Grandma, 111 order some non-sp icy food for you to try”
Brittany consoled Grace. The Mexican place downstars is really good, let’s go.”.

The Mexican place wasn’t big but it was very clean and business was booming.
They picked a small table

Brittany, upon hearing this, ordered what she liked, and also got a plate of little desserts for Grace

Brittany noticed Isaac didn’t seem to want to eat, so she ordered him some steak.
Isaac looked coldly at the steak, and declined, it’s over cooked”

She took the steak back, and started eating
Isaac was slightly surprised, she didn’t care!
“You could try the tacos, it’s really good” Brittany enthusiastically recommended.
Isaac hadn’t eaten dinner yet, seeing her enjoy the food so much, he tried a sip of the soup.
It was much better than he expected, at least it tasted normal.
“We used to come to this Mexican place a lot in college.”
After eating the soup. fus appetite was stirred, and he ordered some food he liked.

He couldn’t stop.
Grace watched his hearty eating, almost laughing so much she couldn’t eat. “You said you wouldn’t eat when we ordered, but now you can’t stop.”
Isaac just pretended not to hear, and after he was full, he got up to pay
They walked home, it was already dark, and the air was filled with a faint scent of flowers. The late shops on the side of the road were still open, with dim lights shining down
Before heading home, they went to a mid range clothing store.
Brittany picked out two sets of clothes for Grace. Elderly people’s clothes should be of good quality, softer, and skin-friendly.
