Chapter 33

Cassie.

Seven years ago.

I stare into his eyes. The world around us fades away as our gaze lock, the tension between us crackling like electricity in the air. Under the lover's moon, I can see the shadow of his jawline, sharp... masculine.

I have never felt this instant attraction with any guy before. But this man... this stranger... I cannot explain why I suddenly feel so drawn to him.

His touch against try skin wirs a hunger I never knew existed. His hands move with purpose and precision, as he slowly unbuttons my shirt. I let out a soft moan when I feel his hands against my bare skin as the fabric of my clothes falls at my

feet.

He leaves a trail of kisses from my chin down to my chest.

"Oh god"" I cannot help the moan that escapes my lips when I feel his lips against the top of my breast. He gently sucks on the skin there, as if he is marking me.

He wraps his arms around me and then he bent down and carried me in his arms. In big, purposeful strides he carried me to the bedroom, and it felt like I was floating in the air.

The moon outside casts an otherworldly glow into the room. I stare up at him as he lays me on the bed. His eyes look darker, his expression drunk with desire.

He takes off his top, revealing his perfect six-pack abs. Then he leans forward to claim my lips once again. His kisses are deep and intense, and I can feel the fire in his touch as his hands explore every curve of my body.

The room is suddenly filled with the sound of his low, guttural growls, and my involuntary moans.
