Lucian and Allison locked lips for two whole minutes in public. How the hell did that happen? 

Everyone’s eyes were on Penelope, Lucian’s legit fiancée, while Allison was just a maid of the Flanagan family This was sure to stir up some drama. 

Penelope bit her lip hard ‘Let’s just chalk it up to a little joke, shall we?” 

“How can we let this slide? That’s not what we agreed on before the game started A socialite complained, “It was supposed to be a thrilling game, Luca, you can’t just weasel your way out.” 

“Exactly Luca never cuts corners in business It’s just a game, don’t tell me you can’t handle it” 

Penelope’s hand under the table clenched into a tight fist. She was about to explode with anger at these people! 

Nathalie and Sabina exchanged glances, never thinking that the holders of the Ace of Hearts would be Lucian and Allison. 

Especially Nathalie, she was kicking herself. Penelope must be blaming herself internally. 

Allison was sitting across from Lucian, divided by a not so wide table. The man was looking at her, their eyes meeting. 

The crowd began to chant

Only the two of them could hear the man’s voice. Suddenly, a shiver ran down Allison’s spine. 

She stared into the man’s eyes, seeing mockery and disdain. 

Her fingers turned white from gripping so tight. She bit her lip hard, as if she could draw blood. 

Lucian straightened up, looked at the cheering crowd, and as if the atmosphere instantly dropped to freezing, he said, “I’ll drink.” 

Choosing to drink instead of kissing Allison 

Penelope’s face instantly warmed up, and Nathalie quickly flattered, “Penelope, Lucian is so good to you” 

Penelope strutted like a victorious peacock. She looked at Allison, wanting to see the look of disappointment on her face, but there was none. The sea breeze messed up her hair, she was as calm as ever, with no other expression. 

Seeing Lucian a bit annoyed, the people around didn’t dare to cheer anymore. 

The man walked to the table, opened a bottle of wine, and drank it down. 

He downed two bottles in a row, his voice a bit hoarse. “You guys carry on, I’m out.” 

Penelope said with some worry, “Lucian, are you okay?” 

Lucian waved his hand, walked over to a lounge chair, and sat down. 

After Lucian left, Nathalie started to mock! “I knew it, who would want to kiss a maid? Just the thought of it makes me sick. So embarrassing” 

“Yeah, a country bumpkin. I heard her mother is sick; who knows what kind of diseases she’s carrying?” 

Some of the socialites who were friendly with them chimed in. 

Allison seemed to be wearing a mask, expressionless, she had gotten used to such taunts 

But when they mentioned her mother, her eyes turned a bit cold.
