Allison opened her eyes. Because of the sickness, her vision was a bit blurry, and she felt completely worn out. She looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings.

The decor was in cold tones. 

The silver–grey cashmere carpet was the same as the one at Juniper Ridge. 

The furniture and the interior design style here were similar to Juniper Ridge but not exactly the same 

She seemed to have seen Lucian in her dream. 

Could it be that it wasn’t a dream? 

Allison sat up, noticed an IV in her hand, quickly pulled out the needle, and staggered out. 

She was sure this was Lucian’s place 

She had been to Juniper Ridge as Penelope, the interior design style here was too similar to Juniper Ridge, it was totally his style. 

Allison ran down the stairs as if chased by a wild beast. 

In the living room, Lucian was reading a book. He looked up to see the panic–stricken woman. 

He narrowed his eyes slightly and asked 

“Are you awake?” 

Then he saw the woman’s eyes filled with fear, and her face turned pale at once. 

Allison was trembling involuntarily, this was truly Lucian’s home…. 

Wasn’t he supposed to be on a business trip? Why was he here? 

How did she run into him? 

Shouldn’t he be at Penelope’s birthday party even if he returned early? 

“You fainted before my car, and I saved you.” Lucian closed his book, casually placed it on the sofa, then stood up and walked towards her 

And Allison, she was stepping back. 

“I’m sorry. Mr Lindberg, I have to go”

Even if it meant walking, she wanted to go home. Here, she felt even more terrified. 

She forced herself to walk out. 

Lucian’s face turned even more somber, she kept appearing in his line of sight, deliberately drawing has attention. There’s no denying that even while he was on business, her face kept popping up in his mind, even repeatedly mistaking her for Penelope.
