“No worries, she'll be punished,” Lysander replied in his deep, soothing voice and turned to
look at Thalassa.
Their eyes met, hers brimming with tears, her lips and chin quivering with shock or perhaps heartache.
Seeing her like this sent a sharp pain through Lysander's heart. He took a step toward her. “Thalassa.”
“Don’t touch me!” Thalassa recoiled just as he reached out to her.
