It was a very gentle touch, like a feather grazing her heart. Marion felt her heart hammer for a moment, and when she reacted, that sensation had already disappeared.

He would just leave it at that. 

Marion thought he would go over and greet Martin, hoping to end the awkward atmosphere. 

However, after his acknowledgment, Lucas showed no intention of going over.
