Isabella had no interest in being the lady of Ascot Group, especially disliking Alexander’s high and mighty attitude. If she had to work under him in the future, wouldn’t
she have to face that sullen
expression all day?
Right now, she just wanted to hurry up and cure the old master’s illness, then completely rid herself of
Alexander.

Aunt Audrey shuddered and quickly stepped forward to clean up.
Isabella took a deep breath. She knew it was pointless to reason with this man. He was domineering to the point of being paranoid, and no one could defy him.

Alexander’s voice was casual, but anyone could hear the raging undercurrent.
He got up and left.

Slender fingers rapidly tapped out a message on the screen and sent it.

If Alexander knew he had been reduced to a disgusting booger in
this woman’s words, he would throw her off the building without

Isabella couldn’t help but chuckle at

Isabella had never met Alexander’s
parents, so she naturally assumed he didn’t have any. After all, with a

Isabella secretly breathed a sigh of relief and slept soundly through the night.

Although he had only returned in the middle of the night, there was no trace of fatigue on his face. Isabella even began to doubt if he was a living, flesh and blood human.
