At night, Starry Dreams Cruise sailed into the open sea.
On board, the wealthy revealed a paradise of champagne, music, and laughter.
Christy Osborn, dressed in a waitress uniform, carried a tray with a cup of alcohol on it carefully, and weaved through the crowds. Her pure eyes shone
with stubbornness.
Gloria Osborn took a noblewoman by her arm and approached from the opposite direction. As she passed by Christy, she smirked and tripped Christy.
Christy immediately fell and smashed the wine glass all over the floor.
Her chin hit the ground first, causing her immense pain, but she knew better than to offend the guest. Out of professional courtesy, she quickly stood up, held back the pain, and apologized, “I’m sorry, ma’am, I didn’t mean that…”
“Are you blind? You can’t even carry a tray properly. You are really good for nothing!” the noblewoman cursed in a mean tone.
Hearing the familiar voice, Christy looked up and recognized the two women. Her face turned pale. “Mom… Gloria?”
Shelia Osborn barked at Christy with a dark face, “I’m not your mom! You’re just an orphan! I’ve been accommodating you for over a decade. Do you want me to raise you for the rest of your life? You’d better get out of the Osborn family and disappear from our sight!”
Seeing that Christy was berated, Gloria sneered in satisfaction. Gloria’s expression made Christy even more furious.
Christy knew that Gloria had tripped her on purpose and wanted to embarrass her in public! She glared at Gloria in anger and retorted,
“I’ve had a stable job. I’ll move out as soon as we disembark. I’ll never show up in front of you guys. You have my words now!”
Gloria sneered and said condescendingly, “Oh, that’s great! You better leave as soon as possible! You are not welcome here!”
Feeling her heart grow cold, Christy ignored them and squatted down to pick up the pieces of broken glass.
As she was collecting, she accidentally cut her finger on a sharp piece of glass, and blood gushed from the wound.
She gritted her teeth and bore the pain.
But Shelia and Gloria completely ignored that
Shelia smiled at Gloria and said, “Don’t let her ruin your day, honey. I will introduce you to the CEO of Stellar Group. He’s on the ship right now. You can’t miss the opportunity!”
“Woah! Do you mean Joshua Melendez? I heard he’s the most handsome and wealthy man in the world. Thank you so much, Mommy!” Gloria exclaimed excitedly and kissed Shelia’s cheek, and then they walked away.
Christy’s heart ached!
Gloria could wear fancy dresses and meet wealthy men on the cruise ship, while she was stuck serving them in a waitress uniform.
Glona could use the world’s most luxurious skincare products, while she was picking up glass in the cold wind and got her hand bleed….
All of this was because she was adopted from the orphanage!
She had never felt the warmth of family ever since her biological parents died. She had been treated as a servant by Shelia and Gloria since she was adopted, and she was forced to drop out and work before she finished high school. Christy had been sick of her life!
Despite the low pay, she could support herself with the job. She would get paid tomorrow. After getting off the ship, she could bid farewell to the Osborn family ruthlessly.
Realizing this, she forced the anger down and smiled as she usually did.
She was asked to deliver the wine to the VIP room.
After the fall just pow, her mind was still dizzy.
“Excuse me, room service,” Christy said politely as she rang the doorbell.
With a squeak, the door opened.
The room was dark, without any voice inside.
At the very moment, a hand reached out from the room.
Before Christy could come to her senses, she was pulled into the room by her collar.
With a crisp sound, the glass shattered as it hit the ground.
Then the door was slammed.
Christy felt a tall figure suddenly press on her body, and she could smell the pungent odor of alcohol on the man.
She could hardly see the man’s face clearly in the darkness.

“Sir, you’re drunk. Please let go of me, and I’ll get you some anti–alcoholic drugs from the front desk…” Christy was a bit scared, but she still tried to keep calm.
But the man ignored Christy’s words. He ripped off her clothes recklessly like a rabid beast.
Christy couldn’t even believe that he had such strong strength, as if her uniform was as gauzy as paper.
She felt a refreshing sensation on her body. She lay under the man, completely exposed.
“Stop it!” Christy struggled while screaming.
However, her shouts and struggles seemed so insignificant under the man’s strength, and she felt like her body was slowly losing control and no longer belonged to her….
Her self–esteem was mercilessly trampled under the feet of this savage man.
Everything was over…
No matter how hard she tried to endure, reality still cruelly crushed her last hope, leaving her with no chance to survive.
Tears fell from her logy eyes. Thinking about how her mother and sister would mock her as a despicable whore, Christy felt like falling into an abyss of despair.
She didn’t know how many times that man had taken advantage of her. She didn’t even have the strength to cry in the end. She was so exhausted that she was unable to move her finger, and her consciousness was blurred….
But the beast–like man didn’t stop torturing her.
She didn’t know how long it continued until suddenly the light turned on! A vague noise came through..
Christy’s consciousness was pulled back intermittently.
She felt sticky all over and could barely move.
She had stayed in the darkness for a long while. Her eyes couldn’t adapt to the brightness, so she couldn’t open them.
However, she could faintly hear a sharp and terrifying voice.
“When did she come here? How dare she! Throw her into the sea!”
After being tormented for an entire night, her consciousness was blurred, and she couldn’t tell whether the voice was male or female.
Someone carried her naked and wounded body out of the room.
“Plop.”
The poor girl sank into the cold sea.
The seawater at this hour was only dozens of Fahrenheit degrees, which was enough to freeze people to death in an instant.
Christy didn’t want to die, but she failed to shout.
The salty and bitter seawater kept pouring into her mouth. Her consciousness soon faded away, and she was overwhelmed by the cold seawater….
