“That’s no problem. The premiere is at 5 o’clock in the afternoon. We can wait until he finishes his class and then go premiere,” he suggested.

“Really? Can we do that?” Rosalie was pleasantly surprised, never expecting that there could be such a turn of events and that she would have another chance to attend the premiere. 

“Why not?” He chuckled. “If we’re running short on time, I can arrange another premiere just for you, as long as you want 

it.” 

Rosalie was taken aback by his offer. Setting up a premiere just for her? That seemed extravagant. But then, considering it was Jonathan, it probably wasn’t too difficult for him. 

Although she didn’t really want Jonathan to go through the trouble of arranging another premiere just for her, his words filled her heart with sweetness.

When they arrived at their destination, Rosalie held Aiden’s hand as they got out of the car. Jonathan accompanied them and escorted Aiden to his classroom.

Jonathan had assumed that he could s simply drop the child off in the classroom and leave him with the teacher. However, Rosalie surprised him by taking a seat right next to Aiden. 

“The classes here require parental involvement. Why don’t you go wander around outside for a bit? I’ll call you when the class is over,” Rosalie suggested. 

Jonathan pursed his lips slightly and pulled out a chair, sitting down beside Aiden. “Well, in that case, I’ll stay.” 

Rosalie smiled. 

Although it was the first time for both Rosalie and Jonathan to come here, the other parents in the room recognized Aiden. Consequently, they found it somewhat strange to see Rosalie and Jonathan here. After all, it wasn’t them who had brought Aiden to class before. 

Especially with the aura emanating from Jonathan and his striking appearance, it was hard not to notice him. 

One of the parents sitting in front of Aiden couldn’t help but ask, “Why isn’t Aiden’s mom here today? And who are you guys?” 

“I’m Aiden’s aunt,” Rosalie replied. After all, Aiden always regarded her as his aunt. 

“And who is this?” The other parent’s gaze shifted to Jonathan.

As she uttered the words, a hint of amusement flickered in his expressive eyes. 

The other parent looked envious and said, “So he’s your boyfriend. You’re lucky to have such a supportive boyfriend who accompanies you to bring the child to class. If you two get married and have children in the future, he’ll definitely be a great father. Nowadays, it’s rare to find men with such patience. Just look around here, and you’ll see how few mothers have their partners with them.” 

The mention of having children made Rosalie’s face flush slightly. After the conversation with the parent concluded, she lowered her head, her gaze falling on her flat abdomen. She had been taking medication to regulate her condition during this time, but she wasn’t sure if it was having any effect. 

However, this felt like a glimmer of hope. At least, on the topic of “children,” she wouldn’t despair like she used to. 

Suddenly, she heard a soft whisper in her ear, “When our child is born in the future, I will definitely be a good father.” 

Rosalie was taken aback. She turned her head and saw that Jonathan had somehow moved closer to her, his face near her cheek. As she turned, his lips brushed against her cheek, causing her cheeks to heat up. 

“I promise that I will protect you and our children,” he whispered. He wouldn’t let their child follow in his footsteps, and he would provide them with plenty of paternal love. He also believed that she would provide the child with ample maternal love. 

She wouldn’t be like his mother, who only saw the child as a bargaining chip and, once her objectives were not met, discarded even that chip without hesitation. 

“We… We don’t even have children yet, and you’re saying all this,” Rosalie felt her cheeks growing hotter and said with a hint of embarrassment. 

Jonathan asserted with unwavering certainty, “As long as you want it, we will definitely have children!” 

She looked at him, a bit dazed. His voice was so resolute as if he would make it happen no matter how challenging the situation might be. 

Their children… If it were possible, she really hoped it would happen!

Rosalie quickly composed herself and gestured to Aiden reassuringly. Her blushing face probably made Aiden concerned. 

Before long, the teacher arrived in the classroom and began the lesson. Parents followed along based on the teacher’s instructions, letting the children touch various props or perform actions to understand the meaning of their spoken words. 

Jonathan watched from the sidelines, occasionally assisting Rosalie by handing her things or offering support. Gradually, Aiden seemed to grow more accepting of Jonathan, even attempting to pronounce his name with a hesitant, endearing tone. 

By the end of the two-hour class, Aiden had started interacting with Jonathan. 

Rosalie found this somewhat surprising because Aiden tended to be reserved in front of strangers. When they first met, his immediate closeness to her was, as Amelia put it, an exception and hadn’t happened before. 

Normally, Aiden wouldn’t interact with customers at the diner, not even the employees who had worked there for a while. 

Often, adults were eager to amuse Aiden, but he completely refused to cooperate. 

Seeing Aiden engage with Jonathan made Rosalie wonder if Jonathan had a knack for dealing with children. She chuckled to herself. 

Regardless, it was great that they got along well. 

Once they were back in the car, Rosalie took out her phone and saw a message from Amelia. After a moment, she looked up at Jonathan and said, “Um… can Aiden come with us to the premiere?”
