Chapter 478 

The court session was about to begin in a few days. Thinking of this, Rosalie felt powerless. 

When she returned to her senses, she found that the car had stopped at a beauty salon where Jonathan had brought her to last time. 

Rosalie was stunned and asked the driver, “Why are we here?” 

However, the driver only replied shortly, “Mr. Youngblood is waiting inside.” 

Upon hearing it, Rosalie did not say anything more and got out of the car. 

As soon as she entered the shop, the store manager greeted her and said enthusiastically, “Ms. Leighton, please come with 

me.” 

Rosalie followed the store manager and soon came to a room on the second floor. Jonathan had already sat on the couch in the room, while there was a light purple gown hung on the coat hanger next to him. 

It was a beautiful gown with dark purple and white crystals embedded in the dress, looking elegant and classic. 

“Accompany me to a banquet tonight. Have a try on this gown,” Jonathan said. 

“Banquet?” Rosalie was stunned for a while. 

“It’s just an ordinary banquet. You don’t need to get too nervous, Jonathan replied. 

Rosalie had accompanied Jonathan to banquets before, but the experience was not pleasant. 

She wondered if something would happen at the banquet later today. 

Rosalie went into the dressing room and changed into the gown.

Jonathan picked up a piece of jewelry from the jewelry box next to him and put on a string of white pearl necklaces for her. 

Rosalie looked at the beads. Each of them looked big, round, and glossy without any defects. The necklace would probably cost millions of dollars. 

Standing before the floor-to-ceiling mirror, Rosalie looked at herself in it. She looked beautiful and elegant, graceful and noble, but nobody would have thought that she was just a legal assistant. 

Her whole look was just dressed up by Jonathan.

“My dear sister, do you like it?” Jonathan asked with a murmured voice, leaning down from behind her with his face close to –her cheeks. 

Looking in the mirror, they looked as intimate as a couple. 

The staff on the side was stunned and thought, “Mr. Youngblood called her sister? What’s going on? When he brought this young lady here back then, the lady seemed to be Mr. Youngblood’s girlfriend!” 

Although the staff was full of astonishment and speculation, she did not dare to ask anything. 

“It doesn’t matter whether I like it or not, right?” said Rosalie. 

“Why would it not matter? If you don’t like it, you can change to another gown then,” Jonathan said softly as if Rosalie was a princess he cherished a lot. 

It also sounded like Rosalie was very important to Jonathan. 

Rosalie was in a trance. Jonathan always gave her the illusion as if they had not broken up yet. 

“Well then, if I don’t like playing make-believe family, are you willing to stop it?” she suddenly blurted out the question from her mouth in a sudden. 

Jonathan’s eyes gradually darkened, but there was a slight smile formed at the corner of his lips. “Don’t ever think about it. It’ll never happen!” 

Jonathan wanted Rosalie to stay by his side forever and be his only “sister”. 

He could give her everything she wanted, and he would present her with everything she desired in front of her, anything but letting her go and loving her. 

Even if Jonathan said it was just an ordinary banquet, in Rosalie’s opinion, it was a very grand banquet.
