Chapter 19

"I am so sorry my King!" the young girl bowed her head before running out so fast I thought she would trip and fall on her face. She was definitely more embarrassed than I was, she had dropped a glass of some sort of oil. I could smell it's beautiful scent from where I was. I felt so embarrassed for behaving so wild and Untamed.

I tried to get out of his hold but he grabbed my hips keeping me in place as he sniffed my neck and breathed out softly I could feel his warm breath brush against my skin Softly. I panicked and pushed his chest as hard as I could.

"please...let me go"I begged afraid that those crazy intense feelings would come back again.

He breathed in my scent one more time before moving away. His eyes looked scary, they were completely black like demon eyes. Somehow I wasn't as scared as I probably should have been. Instead I was curious and when he moved away my body missed his heat.

He watched me with his dark eyes "you should leave while you still can, mate" he said in a voice that sounded like his but mostly animalistic. He was fighting to control his urges and I didn't want to find out what would happen if he lost that fight so I immediately raced out of the water, grabbed my dress. I wore it despite my body still being very wet and rushed out of that cave as if my life depended on it without looking back.

A hand grabbed me as I stepped outside. I jumped and almost screamed in horror. "calm yourself, here follow me. This way he won't find you so soon" Sasha said leading me the opposite direction of how we had gotten here in the first place.

I felt as if my heart was going to give out anytime soon. I could feel the heat in my face which was probably tomato red by now. As we began to walk slowly I breathed out loud "can we sit for a minute"

"yes we can, there is really nothing to rush for" she said and I sat on a large rock. I had so much confusion in my head at the moment.

Sasha stood in front of me with her back resting against a tree. "you smell just like him now. Seems like you are already winning this" she commented

I shook my head in tears "I don't want to win anything. I just want to leave this place with my friends we have so much to do"

"Do not cry... ever. It shows weakness around here. Be strong or you will die. You will not leave this place alive in this state" Sasha said in a serious tone this time. She seemed to be really looking out for me.

I wiped my tears "but I need to see my friends"

"you don't know?" she asked a bit surprised

I stood up suddenly worried "know what?"

We began to walk faster as I increased my pace. I did not know how to feel, of course I was happy he would set my friends free but I didn't want to be left all alone in this place.

We got to the tents a few minutes later. Sasha helped me dress up, this time I wore a long body hugging black dress. It was plain but with shorter sleeves. She led me to a makeshift cabin made out of a few logs. My friends were sitted on chairs in silence. The silence was so intense it felt like somebody had died or something.

"I will leave you for a bit" Sasha said before walking out.

Tyler was the first one to break the silence as he looked at me "you look different already,like one of them"

I looked at myself and to be honest I couldn't say anything. I really was dressed like them while my friends looked dirty and miserable. They looked wounded and there's nothing effective I was doing about it besides making out with the enemy. I felt ashamed.

"leave her alone, you don't know what she is going through out there," Lilah came to my defence "I have been worried sick!" she stood up and gave me a big hug that I returned in tears. I was so hopeless and I didn't want to be left all alone.

"what she is going through? Look at her she looks well taken care of and look at us. We smell like literal shit while she looks all dolled up. Even her hair looks different" Amara snapped rolling her eyes.

I understood her frustration, she was a spoiled girl growing up. This must have been like the worst nightmare for her. Lilah went back to her sit and I sat next to her "I know this is scary but it's scary for me as well. He might let you go today" I said in a low voice

Sam scrunched up her eyebrows "and you?"

I shook my head "His not letting me go and if I try anything stupid. He will kill you all and I can't let that happen. I would never be able to live with myself if anything happened to you guys"

"you are crazy if you think we gonna leave you here all by yourself" Lilah said raising her voice

"keep your voice down, we need to be clever about this okay. This is an opportunity for us to leave this place alive, that way we can get more help then we can save Aria. Use your head" Damon said sternly

Tyler nodded his head "I agree with with Damon, non of us have been trained to fight off whatever they are. We can't do it on our own, without proper weapons. We need all the help and fire arm we can get"

I swallowed my fear and put on my brave face even though I really didn't want to be left alone I had to put my people first "I will be okay for now, they need me for whatever delusional theories they have about me. When he let's you go, run, stay safe and hide. Try to get a hold of our people and warn them about this place."

"We will come back for you as soon as possible" Tyler said confidently

I nodded my head with a small smile "I know"
