I cleared my throat "this could possibly explain the large wolf prints we saw"

Argon shook his head "you can't really start taking what kids say seriously. They were obviously drugged"

"excuse me?" Lilah said very offended. she hated not being taken seriously especially when the situation was serious

Catherine squeezed her daughters hand "Let us just send a team to rescue Aria. We can't just leave her there besides those people need to know what happens when they mess with us. We cannot afford to look weak or they will keep attacking" she said sternly.

Argon hated being seen as someone who was weak so he would definitely hate to see that happen "We will send out a team,you are right. We cannot be seen as vulnerable. Maria make sure everyone is comfortable. We don't want people to feel like they are not safe, panic is the last thing we need right now"

I nodded my head "I will take the rescue team out to save Aria. You will stay in charge until I return. Daniel make sure our radios and the rest of the equipment is functioning. Let me know if there are any problems when I return"

"I will come with you!" Clarke said

Tyler cleared his throat "me too"

I shook my head at Clarke "no you will stay here. I will take Tyler he knows the way"

"I am her mother!" she exclaimed, Clarke was very emotional about the situation which was not going to help on this mission. She would only cause more trouble.

"which is why you will stay here. Look at you right now, your emotions will stop us from saving your daughter. Is that what you want? Stay here, help gather food and help those that are injured. That's the best you can do right now and the child needs you more" I said glancing at Sansa.

She was sitting quietly on the ground playing with her doll. Clarke blinked away her tears and looked up for a second before nodding her head. She knew I was right at this point, she looked at Sansa and gave her a small smile.

"right,I will get the team ready to leave right away" I said "Any questions? You are all responsible for our people. Set up camp, welcome home ladies and gentlemen" I said with a grin and immediately the mood was lighter.

We were all happy to be alive and breathing in fresh air after years of being stuck underwater with nothing but metal walls surrounding us. We deserved this, it was time to live again. I walked out to get the team ready.

Being on earth meant I could finally be a leader without being in anyones shadow. It was a new beginning for me, on Agua I was in my brother's shadow. After losing my brother I thought maybe then I could finally be in the light but instead Cohan became the leader. I was in his shadow, it was never me. This time I was in power and nobody would get in the way of that.

I sacrificed my entire life just to be in power, not even my brother had done the things I had done to be where I am today. I lost my family because of this, now the day had come for me to rise. I was going to save Aria today and prove to my people that I can protect them.

"Amara is right you know, we are not imagining things uncle" Tyler said suddenly walking beside me distracting me from my thoughts.

I looked at him, he looked just like me when I was his age. His presence was a reminder of all the things I had to sacrifice. I kept my son close to me, to protect him. He would take over leadership one day and I would make sure that happens. For that to happen I had to fight for it. For the life I desire.

"Just don't walk around saying things like that, it will only make things worse for you considering your reputation" I said clenching my jaw. Tyler had built the worst reputation for himself. He was considered notorious, a trouble maker and he was also known for taking drugs.

Tyler scoffed "what, you think we are all on some drugs because of me?"

"what else do you want me to think, Tyler?" I asked stopping in my tracks. When he didn't say anything I shook my head "I thought so, call the fCS (first class soldiers)" I told him

He scoffed again, grinding his teeth. He was disappointed that I thought so lowly of him but it was for his own good. He had to toughen up if he was going to survive in this world. I took my weapons and hid a knife in my boots. The FCS appeared with Tyler. It consisted of 10 highly trained soldiers. With just them I knew we could save Aria easily.

"Are we ready!" I said in a strong voice, it wasn't a question. They had to be ready, this is what they were trained for.

"Yes Sir!" they said in unison

Tyle led us, he said he still remembered the way. I was not happy that these people had hurt my son and kidnapped him too. I wanted to punish them for that as well. I believed him when he said they had been held captive but I also believed that they had been drugged as well. Werewolves, monsters were not real.

It felt like hours as we walked through the forest. I was beginning to lose my faith in Tyler. "Are you certain this is the way?" I asked as I stopped.

Tyler looked angry, he had a short temper. He obviously got that from me "Yes! For once, just for once will you trust me on this!"

"shut up" I said in a low voice as a large animal appeared behind him "Don't shoo... t" I said but it was already too late. The soldiers had already begun shooting at the animal.

Even I knew we had no chance at defeating the creature. Another one appeared, they were the biggest wolves I have ever seen in my entire life.They were gigantic, it shouldn't even be possible for such creatures to exist. I grabbed Tyler's arm "run!"

The soldiers would distract them, they were dead already. "we can't just leave them alone, Jack!" Tyler exclaimed as he slid in the mud falling on his back. I watched the animals tear the soldiers apart behind him.

I grabbed his arm again and dragged him with me as we ran through the forest. "they are gone!"

We ran as we made our way back to the camp. We only stopped when I was certain that we were safe. We stopped behind a huge rock, wolves were good at tracking peoples scents. I grabbed mud from the ground and covered it all over my body "here" I said as I put the mud on Tyler

He tried to resist "What are you doing?"

"covering our scent,"

"we need to get more help! I told you they are real" he moved away from me but atleast his scent was covered now, he was a stubborn kid but he could throw his tantrums later.

"You are not going to say a word, we were attacked by a lot of people. They were wild, they took our weapons. Killed everyone else but we managed to escape" I said grabbing the knife in my boots

Tyler shook his head "what!"

I cut my arm, tore my shirt and wrapped it around my arm to look convincing before punching Tyler in the face. He fell and his nose started bleeding "we have to look convincing"

"what the fuck!" he said holding his nose

"Tyler you are on my side. There are no beasts. You will not cause a panic amongst our people. We will deal with this but for now we need to settle. Do you want to go back underwater, live the rest of your life in the pods?"
