The Curse of Thir
Chapter 35

It was cold and the wind howled noisily about her. She looked about her, her eyes unfocused in the blizzard of the snow storm.

Naveen was nowhere to be seen, nor was the castle or Lord Nico. The snowy landscape was immense and unending in every direction. Her sense of direction was off and the chill began to eat bitterly at her bones. She chose a direction and took a step, the crunching noise of snow was lost, she leaned in, closing herself as best she could and took another step. This one felt different. Squinting she looked down; her reddish brown coat revealed itself to her. Picking it up and shaking it out she examined it. It seemed real. She put it on and instantly felt warmer.

Being warmer allowed for clearer thoughts. She wasn’t anywhere near where she had been, Naveen was alive she knew this because the necklace gave the weakest tug in the direction she was headed. The spell obviously hadn’t been completely removed and for that she was grateful.

She understood very little of what had just happened but she knew she had to get back, she knew that Lord Nico had to be stopped, she had to find Naveen. S~ᴇaʀᴄh the FɪndNøvel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
