Melody felt a vindictive pleasure. She raised the contract in her hand and swiftly left.

'Don't tell me Lucas really sees her as wife?' thought Stella. After all, he helped Melody secure a role by negotiating with Shaun on her behalf. Why would he do such a thoughtful thing if he did not see her as wife?

Stella started feeling jealous of Melody, who did not even come from the same background as her.

"What a coincidence, Mister Shaun! The newcomer you've chosen happens to be someone I know." Stella, having been in the entertainment industry for so many years, had long mastered the art of putting on a facade. Even though jealousy filled her heart, she could still manage a seemingly friendly smile.

"Is that so? That's quite a coincidence indeed!" Shaun replied with a faint smile.
