Lucas headed upstairs to the study. He was quite at ease knowing that his grandparents had Melody for company.

"Melody, you're back! If Lucas hadn't messaged me saying you were with him, your Grandpa and I would still be worrying about you!"

Beatrice patted Melody's hand with a smile, "I'm so glad to hear that. If anything happens in the future, just give Lucas a call. Don't try to handle everything on your own! Lucas is your husband, so don't feel shy about relying on him!"

Melody felt a bit embarrassed. Beatrice had no idea that Melody and Lucas were in a contractual relationship, so it would not be right to trouble Lucas with everything.
