"Lucas? What are you doing back home at this hour? Shouldn't you be with Melody at the hospital?" Beatrice asked with a frown, not yet noticing Thalia behind Lucas.

Cedric also wore a disapproving expression. Even though the VIP ward at the hospital certainly had enough people to take care of Melody, who could provide a greater sense of security for her than Lucas?
