"What?" Thalia looked up, surprised by Melody's sudden question. Melody seized the opportunity to ask further.

"Why are you so insistent that Grandma fell by herself? Did you see something you're not telling us?"

Thalia quickly changed her demeanor to one of apparent grievance.

"I didn't see anything. I just think Grandma Beatrice is old, and I know we all don't want this kind of accident to happen, but that's just life.
