Jason was relieved to hear that. “That’s good. We should go to the hospital to make sure Joey is okay.”

Corinne agreed so she nodded and said, “Yes, let’s go.”

She pitied the poor child. With a mother like Anya, Corinne would not be surprised if Joey grew up to have traumatic memories of his childhood.
