Chapter 29

I slipped into the undergarments she had laid out for me and then turned to see that she was holding the most beautiful dress. It was a Long Black White Gradient Chiffon Evening dress. When I put the dress on, I stood in front of the mirror. “Wow, I don’t even recognize myself.” Since my baby bump wasn’t visible yet, it was the perfect dress.

Adria styled my hair in princess curls and did my makeup. “You are a magician, and I mean it both literally and metaphorically.” She smiled. “Alright, now the shoes. Come with me, princess.” We settled on a pair of white feather tassel cocktail shoes soon after heading to the ballroom.

The ballroom was grand, with round tables lined up at the walls. There was a substantially elegant chandelier right in the middle. The floor was so shiny it reflected the light from above; each table had a small vase with a black and white flower arrangement. I was in awe, grounded where I stood; Adria nudged me out of my trance. “Oh, where am I supposed to go?”

She led me to the front, where Dante was waiting. He had his back turned, so he didn’t see me until I was right next to him. “I’ve delivered the package,” Adria said and walked away. I stood next to him, and he turned to me, looking super nervous, and this was a new look on him. The Demon Lord is anxious? “Naila, I am not good with words right now, so just bear with it.”

He then got on one knee and presented a 14k rose gold diamond ring, “Uh, there isn’t another reason for me for doing this, so just say yes, okay?” He clears his throat. “Naila, wanna get married?” I bite my lip, suppressing a laugh. That is by far the worst proposal ever. “Dante, are you serious? Is this the best you got? Isn’t there a script that you’re supposed to follow?” I whispered. He sighs. “Do you want the option to say yes, or do I have to start the ceremony without your consent?” He whispered back.

I purse my lips. “Dante, you don’t have to ask. I thought I made it obvious that I belonged to you. From the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew I belonged to you.” I hold my left hand out for him to put the ring on; he slips it on my finger, stands up, and kisses me. “You trying to tease me?” He whispers. I shake my head innocently, his eyes darken. “Do that again, and I will fuck you in front of everybody.” I blush.

“Are you guys done? Can we clap?” Leo asks; I turn and see a crowd of people just waiting. “I swear you put those two right next to each other, and they just wander off into their world; it’s almost cringy,” Adria says. Dante glares at both of them. “Alright, she said yes, but before you idiots clap, let’s get the fucking ceremony over with.” Bossy much?

The ceremony continues without a hitch, and soon we are at our table eating the cake. “Is this over? Can we go back to the room so we can consummate our wedding?” This horny demon. Adria spits her drink out. “Your wife is pregnant. I am sure you guys are way past that stage. hahaha.” I sit there blushing and drinking water.

Even though Dante rushed through everything, the wedding was beautiful, mumbling how ’I already belonged to him, and this is ‘too human’ for him. Adria just laughed at him and spoke of how she would throw us a baby shower, then asked Dante if that was too human for him. Let’s say Leo and I had to break up a sibling disagreement.

We finally arrived in our room; Dante did his usual excessive lock-up of the room when he didn’t want to be bothered. “Why do you go through all of that?” He didn’t answer, he just stripped bare and ripped my dress off, and as soon as Dante saw my lingerie, he nearly lost it. “Mrs. Cane, take everything except the garter belt and heels. My body quivered when he called me Mrs. Cane.

“Now we can consummate our wedding.” His eyes darkened. “I’ve always wanted to see you bent over my desk.” So I then went and bent over the desk. “Like this?” He walked over to me, used his foot to spread my legs apart, and then buried himself inside of me deep and hard. I moaned out at the contact. “I love you, Dante Cane.” He then kisses my neck, mumbling, “I love you too, Naila Cane.”

Eight months later

Demetria Scarlet Cane was born. I cradled her in my arms as she slept and Dante sat next to me. “She has your eyes, Dante; she is going to drive the men wild,” I whispered. He kissed me. “You were so great, baby, and if she is anything like you, she will turn heads,” Dante whispered. He then scowled. “Did you know that during your whole pregnancy, Leo was bugging me? Adria told me because that shit is mated to our daughter.”

I bit my lip, suppressing a smile. Ever since I learned how to use Truths Eye, I realized that Leo was mated to our daughter. I figured that my father forgave Dante when he betrayed him; my mother foresaw us being together. Knowing how Dante is, he sent Leo on a mission and told him not to come back until our daughter was at least 30.

“I am sure he is going to treat her well; besides, I am very interested to know how this is going to turn out,” I whispered. His scowl deepens, “Naila, give me our daughter. I am going to run away with her and leave you behind.” He whispered, reaching for her.

“You guys just disappear when you are together; I feel sorry for that child; her parents care more about each other than they do their child.” Adria shakes her head; she reaches for Demetria taking her. “You can whisper amongst yourselves now. Dante looks at me adoringly. “Wanna run away with me? I know a great place. Adria can watch her. We did our part.” I blink at him. “Are you serious?” He shrugs. “You’re right. We should wait until she is old enough to stay home by herself. But as soon as she is 13, we are running away, and I am fucking you Every. Single. Day.” I sigh. “Sure sounds great, now hold me so I can sleep. I pushed her for 5 hours. I love you, Dante Cane.” He kisses me and holds me as I drift to sleep. “I love you too, Naila Cane.”
