Summary
It's been a quarter century since the end of civilization as we knew it. The zombie hordes took us out in no time at all, and now the remnants of humanity cling on to life, holding on to what's left.
Jack is a former soldier with a lifetime of regrets. All he wants now is to find one last moment of peace before ending his own life. But when he is presented with a chance to save the life of a young slave girl, he finds that his journey is not quite over yet when realizes there is so much to live for.
