Chapter 45 

William’s eyes instantly widened, and he was overjoyed. 

Lucy was also astonished. 

As adults, they naturally understood what it meant to go to a hotel. 

Although Hayley had been spending a lot of time with William lately, she had always kept her distance 

from him. 

William had never even reached first base with her. 

Initially, he had planned that once he had completely taken control of Hayley Pharmaceuticals, he would reveal his true colors and directly pounce on Hayley. 

He hadn’t expected that after what happened that night, Hayley would actually agree to go to a hotel with 

him. 

William felt like he had truly hit the jackpot. 

Lucy was overjoyed, hoping that Hayley and William would get together. With William’s background, he would undoubtedly be a great asset to Hayley. 

In order to facilitate the matter, Lucy bluntly said, “Do you want me to prepare condoms for you?” “No, it’s fine. There’s some in the hotel room,” William responded as he covertly observed Hayley’s reaction. When he noticed her lack of response, it seemed like she was giving her silent consent. 

William was overjoyed as he stole glances at Hayley’s voluptuous figure. He couldn’t contain his burning desire and he stepped on the gas pedal even harder. 

Before long, he pulled up to the Lexington Star Hotel. Lucy sensibly made her exit, grinning from ear to ear as she said, “May you have a delightful evening ahead.” 

William was brimming with excitement, his energy was palpable. 

As soon as they walked into the hotel room, he was so impatient that he immediately went in for a hug. However, Hayley struggled and pushed William away. 

“Hayley, I’m sincere about my feelings for you. I’m willing to do anything for you. Please be mine tonight,” William said with sincerity. 

Hayley frowned slightly as a wave of complex emotions washed over her. 

She didn’t have feelings for William, but he was useful to her, or rather, she needed a man like him by her 

side. 

However, when she saw Wyatt doing that sort of thing with that vixen, Hayley seethed with resentment. She wanted to get back at Wyatt, so she agreed to sleep with William. 

However, as soon as she walked into the room, she regretted it. Wyatt was all she could think about, and

she had no feelings for William whatsoever. 

“Hayley, please give me a chance. I’ve been dreaming of this day for a long time. Please let me be your man, and together we will build an empire with Hayley Pharmaceuticals.” 

William, unable to restrain himself any further, lunged himself toward Hayley and tightly embraced her. 

“I’m so sorry, William, but I’m not feeling well.” 

Hayley pushed him off again, then hurried to the bathroom and threw up in the sink. 

William, who was driven by desire, hurried into the bathroom as well. He was determined to embrace Hayley from behind. 

Hayley suddenly turned around, retched, and vomited all over William’s face. 

William was so stunned that he stood there, dumbfounded. 

“I’m so sorry, William. I’m so sorry!” 

Hayley apologized profusely and quickly rinsed William’s face with water. 

“I’ll do it myself!” 

William gritted his teeth and scowled. 

Hayley walked out with a helpless expression on her face. She realized that she still loved Wyatt and she couldn’t bring herself to accept William.
