"I won't cry! I'm not a child!" Ranita laughed, her dark eyes sparkling with joy as her fair face lit up. Ranita was a simple woman who found happiness in the little things. Chris couldn't help but think that she was both charming and adorable.

"Hehe... I was just joking with you," Chris didn't finish his sentence as he noticed Ranita suddenly stop walking. He followed her gaze and saw Brendon and Shannon.

Chris pursed his lips slightly.

"It's Brendon and Shannon,” Chris let go of Ranita's hand to greet them.

"You guys haven't left yet?"

Brendon gave Ranita a cold glance before speaking in an icy tone, "Shannon said she wanted to have drinks with you guys at the pier after coming back since you didn't get to chat earlier.”
