She couldn't wait any longer.

“Mr. Stuart, you're asking for too much!” They had initially agreed on three months, but now ten days had passed since then. If they reduced it to one month, she would only have to endure an additional twenty days before gaining her freedom. But now it had become one month and twenty days - an agonizingly long wait!

"But you also made significant demands,” Brendon sneered coldly. "One month earlier is acceptable If not, you'll have to face financial consequences!”

"They truly are stunning,” Caleb inwardly sighed. If she still had the time to admire flowers like this, maybe things weren't as dire as he thought? He just hoped today's confrontation wouldn't escalate into something violent or unpleasant.

"What are you two whispering about?" Suddenly, Brendon halted and turned around, wearing an unhappy expression on his face.
