After a moment of silence, Avery hesitated before finally nodding, choosing not to dwell on the issue any longer.
Having spoken for a while, Neera was feeling exhausted physically and mentally.

In response, Avery said, “You should rest now. I’m leaving. I’ll come to see you another day.”

In the corridor, Jean wore a cold expression and said, “You know which way the hospital’s main entrance is. I won’t see you out.”
Avery naturally didn’t need Jean to send him off. He looked at Jean with a complex expression and suddenly asked, “The incident at Bartitsu Guild headquarters was your doing, wasn’t it?”
