We thought that by letting this outsider make the call, Neera would feel somewhat pressured to maintain a facade in front of a stranger and thus, wouldn’t drive us away! Who would have thought this stubborn woman would insist on driving us away? If she calls the police, Neera would certainly not speak up for us. Who knows, we might even end up getting arrested!
