Jean’s eyes fluttered to see Neera so lost.
This was his first time seeing her this way. It was amusing.
“What did you see that scared you that badly?” He was in a good mood to ask out of curiosity.

She tried to stay behind Jean as much as possible. Every time she felt scared, she buried her face into his back.
