"That's a good idea!" The elders' eyes lit up with joy.
Profit would always motivate people.
The Morrisons only refrained from agreeing to the partnership because the profit division Hugh proposed was unfavorable.
Given Cynthion Group's influence and potential, the Morrisons would benefit greatly if they could convince Leon to raise their profit to thirty percent. Everyone was instantly moved.
"What? Uncle, are you seriously still thinking about raising the percentage at this point? Mister Wolf won't agree to it!" Contrary to the elders' reaction, Hugo was shocked to learn that Jayden was still foolishly trying to obtain more profit.

He knew that Hugh was actually Leon. Yet, Jayden wanted to go around Hugh and negotiate with Leon directly. This was laughable.
If Leon found out that Jayden was still meddling, he would give up on working with the Morrisons altogether and choose the Dagleshs instead.
This would only result in the Morrisons missing out on this opportunity and Hugo could not let Jayden get his way.
"Nonsense! Who is Hugh to represent the chairman? Don't try to scare us!" Jayden scoffed, paying no mind to Hugo's words or Hugh's authority.
"Yeah, Hugo. Hugh is just the vice president so how can he compare to the chairman?"
"I think that Jayden's idea isn't so bad. We can send someone to speak with Leon. We have nothing to lose!"
The elders agreed along. "Why you..." Hugo was livid that the elders started supporting Jayden.
For a moment, he desperately wanted to tell them the true identity of Hugh to avoid loss for the Morrisons due to their arrogance. However, he could not do so because Leon specifically asked him not to. Instantly, he found himself at a crossroad.
