Though they knew all along that Leon was outnumbered, Leon had superior strength and speed.
If he dodged around, he may be able to back away from their range before he exhausted himself and therefore survive.
Yet, Leon foolishly gave up on dodging and intended to take the combined attack instead of backing down.
This was practically suicidal.
The combined attack launched by the Apostles and the Fermers was enough to break past Leon's defense.
Now that Leon chose to face them, he would either get injured or die, which was something only a fool would do.
"Great! Destroy him!" Felton and the others were overjoyed and beamed.
They were initially worried that Leon would choose to gradually back away from the attack's range, and this would make defeating Leon more challenging. Luckily, Leon was foolish enough to face them head-on.
This worked for them and was exactly what they wanted.
If they were not mistaken, their attack would break Leon's defense and injure him.
That seemed to be the only possible outcome.
However, what happened next shook them all.

Felton and the Apostles were instantly swallowed by Hurricane Break. Even the Grimstons and the Underwoods along with some of the others who were watching the fight were covered by Hurricane Break's range. In the end, even the stage for the sales drive was swallowed by the hurricane.
