As the elders and Arthur were defeated by the Southern Boss, they all fell into despair.
Thankfully, Leon arrived just in time and this gave them hope.
Once Leon got out of the car, he saw that the Southern Boss was ready to finish Arthur off.
Without much time to think, he immediately sent three daggers flying at the Southern Boss.
"Leon!" The Southern Boss turned around and was instantly terrified.
He did not know why Leon appeared before him out of the blue, but he fought Leon enough times to know that Leon possessed daggers that were covered in deadly poison.
When he saw three daggers being sent his way, he immediately recognized them.
Not daring to take this lightly, he gave up on finishing Arthur off and waved his arm to strike the daggers down.
"Oh, no! This is bad!" The Southern Boss struck the daggers down and soon realized Felton failed in eliminating Leon with the help of the Grimstons and the Underwoods.
If he succeeded, Leon would not have appeared here in the southern region all of a sudden.
Without hesitation, the Southern Boss grabbed Arthur's shoulder and pulled him up from the ground.
He then sealed Arthur's power to prevent him from struggling or resisting.
When Leon saw that the Southern Boss captured Arthur, he strode forward, intending to rescue Arthur with the Phantom Steps.
However, the Southern Boss was on guard before he could act.
"Leon, take one step and I will kill this old man!" the Southern Boss roared.
He then placed his palm against Arthur's head while backing away to distance himself from Leon.
He knew what Leon was capable of and was terrified of the Potential Energy Forces he possessed.
Since he did not know if Leon still possessed more Potential Energy Forces, he could not let Leon get any closer.
"Damn it! How can this happen? Where are the Dragon Guards in the southern region?" Leon's expression darkened and his steps halted.
He glanced around, his gaze darting from Arthur to the five elders who lay on the ground, his expression darkening further. He arranged for coming to the southern region and requested Alfred to send Dragon Guards to assist the Thompsons. With the Dragon Guards and the Thompsons' combined strength, he assumed they were more than capable of stalling the Southern Boss and the Western Boss until he arrived.
To his bewilderment, the Dragon Guards from the southern region were nowhere to be found.
Without the Dragon Guards' help, the Thompsons suffered great losses, and had Leon not arrived in time, all of them would have been dead by now. 1
