"I wonder how Renee's doing," Hugo was distracted and fell into silence as he listened to the others praise Leon.
Ever since Renee left the sales drive, she did not contact her family.
Though Leon informed Hugo that Renee followed him to the southern region, Renee did not call him once.
Worried about her, Hugo called her multiple times but she never picked up.
This made him realize that something might have happened to Renee.
Still, this was just a guess and he could not be certain about it.
Therefore, he kept it to himself and did not tell the others to prevent them from worrying.
"Renee's too reckless. How could she follow Mister Wolf to the southern region without telling US? Once she comes home, I'm going to punish her!" Caleb looked displeased.
Renee disappeared during the sales drive and since Leon was in a hurry to rescue the Thompsons, there was no way that Leon would agree to bring Renee along.
If he was not mistaken, Renee likely followed Leon against his will.
Though he did not know why Renee would do that, he knew that both the Southern Boss and the Western Boss were powerful and almost unrivaled.
Renee was reckless in following Leon to the southern region.
Thankfully, Leon was powerful enough to take care of the Southern Boss and the Western Boss, or Renee would have gotten herself killed.
Hence, he was rather frustrated and was determined to punish her so that she would not do such reckless things again. "Dad, Renee may have already been in an accident and it may be too late for us to punish her," Josiah sighed worriedly. Like Hugo, he had concluded that something bad might have happened to Renee since he did not hear from her for days.
Now that Leon returned to the
western region, he did not head back to Cynthion Group and instead came to the Morrisons immediately.
This made Josiah more certain that something happened to Renee.
"What? Something happened to Renee? What are you saying?" Caleb was shocked.
The elders felt the same and they all stared at Josiah in surprise.
