Chapter 36 

Maddox said firmly, “Aurelia, there’s no need to frighten me like an alarmist. Anyway, I have already made up my mind to invest in you. When it comes to investment, who can guarantee that it always brings profits? 

“If so, the world would be full of wealthy people, wouldn’t it? Anyway, no matter how much money you make or lose, I will always consider you a friend, Aurelia. Unless you look down on me and are displeased for me to be your partner, then it’s a different story!”

“If others want to borrow money from me, I naturally wouldn’t act like this. But if the money is for you, Aurelia, I’ll definitely hurry up and urge you to borrow it. After all, I have already missed my chance to make money with you as at partner. I still need to earn the interest, though. The sooner you borrow it, the more I can carn, right?”
