Chapter 57 

The two were scared to death. Although one of them caused the trouble, the other was aware of it too. Who could guarantee that Jacob would not get angry at the latter next? 

While they were feeling extremely uneasy, and afraid that Aurelia would directly reject their suggestion and leave in an ignorant manner. In that case, they would have thoroughly humiliated Jacob.

“Mr. Miller, can you still walk? I’m weak, so I can’t carry you!” Aurelia asked 

When hearing her sweet tone, Jacob admitted that he felt very proud and happy in his heart. 

He replied, “Aurelia, don’t you underestimate me. Do you really think I can get drunk with this little wine? I can even walk home by myself now!” 

Jacob was still testing her as he deliberately pretended to be drunk and slurred when he said that he could walk. However, his body purposely leaned 

toward Aurelia. 

He wanted to see how much she could bear. 

Aurelia frowned slightly, but the strength she used to hold Jacob’s arm increased. 

“Mr. Miller, you have the strength to walk home, but I can’t do it anymore. I have to drink a hangover remedy and take a rest. I heard that you love Blue Mountain. Coincidentally, I brought some from my dad’s study when I came to Xandenia. Should we have a taste of it together?” she suggested. 

He commented, “Aurelia, you brought Blue Mountain? I only have this one favorite, and you even found out about it? Looks like you did detailed research before coming here this time.” 

“Of course Mr. Miller, you’re a distinguished guest not anyone could meet easily. I’ve troubled you a lot for last time’s incident, so I was worried about how to repay you. This Blue Mountain is nothing much. Besides, I’m sure you’re able to get one of better quality. Please just don’t complain about the coffee beans I brought,” Aurelia replied. 

“You’re being insincere with that pretentiousness, Aurelia 

“Mr. Miller, let’s go upstairs and have a try now. Maybe you can give me some pointers on my barista skills too?” 

“Of course, Aurelia. If you’re showing your sincerity by bringing coffee beans from Navarre, shouldn’t I give it a try as an appreciation for your efforts?” They talked to each other indifferently, but at the same time exchanged pleasantries as they left the private room and took the elevator to the top 

floor. 

Aurelia was really tired. For her revenge against Marcellus for her previous life, she had to work hard to enter the business world. Once the door to the presidential suite was pushed open, all the lights in the room lit up, and the central air conditioner started running automatically.

When the door was closed again, the luxurious and heavy curtains and blackout curtains automatically fell down. The bright sunlight outside the window was isolated by the thick curtains. 

For a moment, the whole presidential sulte seemed to enter the glittering hours of the night in advance. 

Jacob lay lazily on the leather couch in the middle, and his head was also relaxed on the leather armrest on one side of the couch. It seemed that he really wanted to sleep after drinking. 

Aurelia played with her curly hair and smiled at Jacob’s lazy posture. She ignored him and turned around to walk into the master bedroom inside. 

Jacob saw that she went into the bedroom, but after waiting for another five or six minutes he did not see her coming back out. He was stunned for a moment and thought, ‘She’s interesting! 

Did she really enter the master bedroom just like that?
