Julianna brushed it off, attributing it to stress.

She had not expected to meet Elvis at the park, and his words did not sit well with her.

Julianna could not understand why he was blaming her for this. Meanwhile, Nancy and Herman stood stock still, exchanging glances and trying to figure out why Elvis was here.

They had gotten on each other’s nerves every time they met

Julianna could not ignore Elvisovert hostility, but she felt especially annoyed when he accused her of being a bad mother. No one could doubt her love for her children, and she would not accept Elvis’s  S~ᴇaʀᴄh the (F)indNƟvᴇl.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

criticism.

She was about to respond, but her two children could not hold back. They stepped forward, glaring at Elvis in anger.

We love having a mother like her. How could you say something like that about her?

“I thought you were a good person. I didn’t think you would say something like that. You’re a really

rude sir!”

“I didn’t expect the president of the Oli Group would be here. ‘She thought‘

Was it that your company is in charge of this park’s reconstruction?” Julianna asked curiously.

“That has nothing to do with you. But I must say, I’m surprised at how you educate your children. I feel sorry that they have a mother like you,” Elvis remarked.

She was right. The Oli Group had taken on the project of the park.

Nancy and Herman stood protectively in front of Julianna like two fierce little bulls defending their

mother’s honor.

The children did not care about any consequences. They were ready to show their sharp claws to anyone who dared treat their mother poorly.

Elvis had not expected such a strong reaction from the children. He realized that what he had said was pretty rude, but he did not feel the need to explain himself to them.

“I have nothing to say to you, Mr. Elvis. I’ve just brought my children out here for a walk today. I hope you’ll keep any disagreement with me to yourself. We have nothing to discuss,” Julianna declared, wanting to get away from Elvis.

Julianna wanted to keep the children away from Elvis, since he was currently searching for her.

She’s worried he might threaten the children to get to her if he discovered her identity.

The mere thought of it made Julianna anxious. She was determined not to let that happen for the sake of her children.

“Alright. Nancy, Herman, say goodbye to Mr. Elvis. Let’s go home,” julianna suggested.

The children Ignored her. They had no intention of saying goodbye to someone like him.

Nancy and Herman were starting to regret bringing their mother there,

They weren’t sure if Elvis was their father, but his behavior today had infuriated them. He was not someone they wanted as their father.

Back in Shako Town, Helena had taught them to respect other people and be responsible,

They had many fantasies about the kind of person their father was before they met Elvis. But now that they had met him, all those unrealistic fantasies had shattered,

Julianna left Music Lake Park with a child on either side. Elvis watched their retreating figures thoughtfully.

Davy walked up to Elvis and followed his gaze to the two children. He might be imagining it, but could not shake the feeling that these two children resembled Elvis a little too much in both behavior and appearance. Was that just a coincidence, or…?

“Investigate Julianna and those two children.”

They had investigated Julianna before, but only in her capacity as a designer, not her personal history

David nodded, finding it hard to stop thinking about the two children.

After she left the park with the children, Julianna breathed a sigh of relief and hailed a car to take them back to the hotel…

On the way back, she glanced at Nancy, then at Herman. She felt her heart tremble more and more.

Her heart had skipped a beat when she had seen Elvis, and now that she was looking at the children, Julianna understood why she had felt that way. They looked so much like Elvis.

Julianna’s heart pounded. She wondered if Elvis was the man from five years ago.

Nancy grabbed Julianna’s hand, noticing that it was icy cold, which worried her greatly. She would never have let her mother meet Elvis if she had known this would happen

Herman also felt guilty. He did not think his father would be so unkind.

They might as well not have a father at all.

“It’s okay. We might see him again in the future. But from now on, you two should try to avoid him, okay?Julianna tried to suppress her speculations firmly.

She did not dare say what she was thinking. What if it turned out to be true

Julianna felt conflicted. While she wanted to find out the truth about five years ago, seeing Elvis made her realize that the truth might not be as important as she had thought.

As long as she had Nancy and Herman, it didn’t seem necessary for her to find out the truth

The children both sensed what was going on when they saw Julianna’s distress. They nodded vigorously in reply, agreeing that they would never meet Elvis again.
