Nora’s POV

I felt Aurelie’s grief over her brother and then we took him home to his mother who waited for him. We watched as she took him in open arms. and the moon goddess smiled and as she waved her hand over him he began to shrink to that of a small boy.

“Now, the mother and the son can begin again” the moon goddess said and I smiled and nodded.

Aurelie took me away from there and I opened my eyes again and I was in Helios arms. I snuggled closer to him and he chuckled. I had shifted back to my human form but all that energy release drained me and I was so tired.

“Nora, sleep, and tomorrow we can talk” Ares whispers in my ear and I sigh and nod my head against Helios shoulder.

I let my sleep come and catch me and I am plunged into a dreamless

time.

Helios POV

I watched in horror and in awe at what Aurelie did to her brother. She killed him, tore out his throat and then took him to Artemis and the moon goddess realm. We waited for them to return when I felt the tingles in my arms and I looked down to see Nora, in her human form in my arms and I sighed in relief.

She is absolutely incredible. First she broke one part of the curse and we watched as she shifted into Aurelie’s powerful wolf and then she stood up and we finally got to see Lillie’s true form. They were both

beautiful but Nora was even more beautiful. Right now her hair was white, like silver white and it glowed and so did her eyes when she woke up in my arms.

They glowed brightly like liquid gold and her entire aura was stronger, the ground where she stood was filled with crystal white flowers and the air felt fresher. The wild animals that had come out from the woods to watch all bow their heads at her and I felt that they only wanted to show respect.

The few rogue lycans that were still hiding in the forest came out to watch as well and I could hear their screams as they were forced to shift back. Nora’s part in breaking the curse was to heal the rogue lycans but how back our female lycans in that case?

“Brother, have you seen the markings?” Ares asks suddenly and I glance at him and then down at Nora.

My mark formed that of a crescent moon and like fire it spread over her shoulder and wrapped onto her arm and mixed into the flames stood my lycans name and I smiled.

On the other side of her n*eck where Ares mark laid it was also a crescent moon but in the opposite direction and instead of fire it was like water waves cascading down her arm and his lycans name was also written there.

“They are so beautiful” I whisper and Ares agrees.

I stand up with Nora in my arms and we walk back to the castle. My dad stopped us and we looked at him. I noticed blood on his face like he had been crying tears but instead it was blood and I got to reach out

for him when he shook his head.

Instead he laid his hand on Nora’s head and whispered softly to her, only so I and Ares could hear him.

“Thank you, my sweet girl and I will uphold my promise to you” dad whispered before he placed a feather light k*ss on her forehead.

“She has been touched and been gifted by the moon goddess herself. She is the high priestess” Melinda says and I look at her confused. when Melinda and Mariah and the rest of the witches suddenly fall

down on their knees and bow to her.

Ares looked more confused than me and I nodded at their respect and then I kept walking. Not so comfortable to show everyone how our mate looked completely n*ked and Ares agreed. Anna seemed to understand our concern as she was holding onto a blanket.

I stopped in front of her and she bowed her head at Nora before. draping the blanket over her in my arms.

“Thank you Anna” I say and smile and she shakes her head and smiles

back.

“Thank you, Helios, for bringing our queen home and for never giving up on her.” Anna says and I nod my head before bending down and k*ss her gently on her head. Earning a growl from my uncle but Anna slapped him on his chest and Ares and I chuckled.

Then we walked through some audience and everyone bowed their heads and some even wanted to touch her as they looked at her in awe.

“Prince Helios and Prince Ares, if I may?” a d*rty looking man comes forward with five other men behind him. Former rogue lycans.

“You may” I say and he smiles.

“We came to our senses when our future queen broke the curse and she even healed our lycans and freed them from the despair that they had us live in. We would like to pledge to her when she has woken up if that is alright with you?” he says and looks us in the eyes but out of respect for us and for Nora they bow their heads again.

“I think that is an excellent idea. I will notify everyone when your future queen is awake and is ready to meet everyone” Ares says and I nod while looking down at Nora that is sleeping.

We walked through the castle when Nora began to stir in my arms but Ares told her to keep sleeping and she nestled herself into my arms as we walked up to our room.

Let’s see what tomorrow will bring.
