They say, sometimes too much rebelliousness is not good, it can sometimes drag you to your own end.

I don't believe it.

I think rebelliousness is against something that you don't find right, rebelliousness is for those who are daring enough to fight for themselves.

Fight according to them.

I felt my eyes turn Gold as I run towards the window I had once jumped through before, I jumped again - this time shattering the window.

Shards flew everywhere but none harmed my skin.

I land gracefully on the ground and take off.

I don't know precisely where I was running but where ever I was going, Darius was going to be there since I was following his scent.

Since he was all that I could smell.

I stopped at a distance from where Darius could not see me and noticed two things, one, he was holding Marco back from charging, and two, the same rogue female stood there alone - who previously came with the other wolves to kill me.

"Because She will be coming back, she has been here before and she will come back," I remember what Darius said and he was right.

I wonder what he knows about her.

I try to hear what words they were exchanging but it was not possible with this distance and dropping senses.

Curses.

My eyes move to a pacing Avalon who was going crazy without his erasthai and then back to Marco who wanted nothing more but to reach the female standing there.

I wonder why.

I finally decided to get closer, not caring if Darius could smell me, he could smell me by now anyway but he didn't point it out.

He was too busy holding his right man in command.

"Why are you here? Where is my erasthai!?" Avalon snapped, clenching his jaw, trying not to bite the female's head off.

"I am not here for you-" her eyes move to Marco, "- Or you."

At this Marco growl and fights in Darius' grip who had a stronghold on him. A bulb went off in my head.

"I am here for her!" The female pointed at me and everyone turned to look at me, I just tilted my head in anticipation as all the attention was on me now.

My eyes moved from the female to Darius who was glaring daggers at me.

"Go inside!" Darius growled but I ignored him - which of course angered him - and walked closer to the female.

"Why do you want me?" I seethed out, letting my eyes shine gold which made the female step back but she did not let her confidence falter.

She was a daring one.

"If you want all the females that were taken safely before they become lab rats, weapons, or breeders, you better come with me to Willow town." She snaps with vigorous movements made by her right hand while the other rested on her hip.

Her attitude ticked me off.

"Well aren't you a confident little bitch to come here all by yourself, I should teach you some manners and respect." I step forward, anger flaring in me, by thinking of anything happening to Alaska or any other females.

Claws elongate from my fingers.

Even though I could not shift, I could do this much, and it was enough.

In a few seconds, I had the female by her throat.

"Freya! No!" Marco shouted and I looked back at him. Defeat covered his eyelids. "Please."

My eyes turn back to their bright blue color as I take in his face, it looked so vulnerable.

While I assess his condition for a few seconds more, the female a few seconds away from her death lets out a choked laugh and I snap my head back towards her.

Fucking brave of her to laugh on the brink of her death.

"You can't even hurt me, because that Lycan there won't let you. You see, I am his erasthai."

My eyes widened and I dropped her. I knew it! Darius knew that all along.

I see, Marco got his erasthai - a wolf, the very species he hated.

The female immediately gasped and tried to suck in the air while holding her neck.

Bruises were already starting to firm on her neck but I couldn't care less - it sort of pained me to see Marco not able to do anything.

"I had come here several times. I knew he was my erasthai since even before the first day you and I met. A reason why I am here today is also him, but sadly, he cannot have me so I'll torture him like that."

Marco doesn't deserve this. No, he doesn't.

"You piece of shit." I punch her straight in the face and she immediately passes out. I am loving this new strength.

"No!" I look at Marco and raise an eyebrow.

"You either want her running in that forest hurting more people or locked in your room. Your choice." I call out and point at the female passed out at my feet.

I didn't feel bad about the female - no. She deserved this. If she thought she was going to torture Marco, then she had another thing coming.

Darius slowly let Marco go who instantly run towards his female - staring awestruck for some moments - and pick her up.

I could tell that this was the first time he was seeing her up close or even touching her. The way his eyes shined ached my heart.

He was hurting for long enough but still didn't tell anyone.

Marco gives me one last look before turning around to run away but not before listening to Darius' statement.

"I want you back here in five minutes." Marco nod and run away. The female limp in his arms.

As the distance increased between Marco and us, Darius marched towards me, authority rolling off of him but I only raise my chin in defiance. My gold eyes shining brightly.

He grabbed my chin and pulled me closer.

I waited for him to shout or drag me to a corner but he didn't, he only inspected my eyes.

I tried so hard to not close my eyes while he stared deep into my soul.

"Hmm, gold looks good on you." I watched him baffled as I process his words.

I wanted to unleash my anger on him but held back and waited for him to say something, but he didn't as well.

"King, I apologize for intruding, but my mate is on the line," Avalon speaks and I take a step away from Darius immediately, letting his hand from my chin drop.

I forgot about him and the fact, that Avalon was about to go bonkers any second now.

"I am coming with you -" Darius starts to say something but I raise my finger, "She was there for me when I needed her."

Darius clenched his jaw and his eyes glowed darker.

"Your heat is nearing, I cannot let you out of here." My eyes widen.

"You cannot leave me again! I will go one way or another - and anyway, aren't you strong enough to take care of your female?"

"Okay, but you will do as I say." I nod and Darius sigh. Questioning a guy's masculinity gets you to so many places. So many.

Time to go save Klepto!

Marco comes shortly and we all sit in a vehicle and move on.

I wonder what Klepto would be doing.

"Huh," I say tauntingly at the poor excuse of a human who lay beneath my feet in his own puddle of blood.

Motherfucker thoughts he could have me, not knowing what I could do.

When my heat was gone, I was depressed by the amount of blood I lost. I was disheartened by the fact that I could have a child but I let it bleed.

I was angry and sad.

As for Avalon, I had threatened him that if he came near me even by a bit or if I felt suffocated, I would've taken my life then and I was not lying.

The despair I felt in the heat was really depressing.

I kick the human in the head, separating his head from the body.

I don't know when I was taken but it was probably an hour before my heat had ended and Avalon was not nearby. I tried to fight but the pain was magnificent and I had passed out.

Also, the blood made me nauseous.

Then I found myself in a warehouse with several other females drugged to unconsciousness.

I slowly walk towards the window while stomping my feet on the carpet - trying to get off the blood - of the large house and jump out, immediately sprinting.

I was not drugged - I guess because I had woken up in like other females - but when they came to take me, I had pretended to be still passed out.

I heard everything they said and if possible, it made me angrier.

"This female is mated to a Lycan."

"Strong breeding."

"Will be perfect for experimenting. Strong enough to take the harsh chemicals."

"No! Female like her shouldn't be wasted in the lab. We should brainwash her and make her work in the army. We will tell her that we made her."

"Good idea."

"I am willing to pay extra thousand dollars if you give her to me. I can fuck her and see if she will be able to reproduce with a human. Perfect experiment, And if the child is born, we can use them as a weapon. This will benefit all of us."

"And when the other female comes in, Mr. Rodriguez can have her."

"Deal."

I jump over a fallen log.

After that, I was given to that fat man who was a fool to think that I would just lay in the cage. No! I kicked his head clean off his shoulder.

Serves him right.

Now, time to see my pretty fellas back home.
