It was the start of another day and I could already sense Darius being anxious by living among werewolves and now he was annoying me by telling me we have to leave again and again.

He says that our purpose here is done and it was best to leave this small place. He was getting agitated and I was quite enjoying it.

"I am not going to leave until the females return!" I say sternly, making sure my order went through but I forgot who I was ordering.

In a second, I was upside down on his broad shoulder and was now being walked out of the packhouse.

"Why the hell you do not understand that I cannot stand them, female!" Darius mumble a few more curses under his breath while I squirm in his hold.

He pulls back but not before closing the door of my side and making sure I was not going to yeet myself out of the car. He gave me one last look and started driving. I was still shocked by such an intense kiss. He has never kissed me like that before.

I softly touched my lips while he continued to drive.

We didn't speak afterward.

It was sometime late when we reached back to the pack, I hadn't talked to Darius the whole way back and continued to ignore his presence altogether.

I was happy to be off that vehicle, confined in an area with Darius.

I immediately walked in the direction of the lounge where I was surprised to find Klepto and Kamri in a heated discussion.

"Hey," I mumble and crash on one of the soft couches.

They look at me but then continue,

"I don't care what your situation was but why did you take it!"

"I liked it!"

"So does that mean that you will steal it!?"

"I did not stea-"

"Can you guys shut up! My head is aching!" I shout in my Lycan voice - that I am liking a lot these days - causing both the females to shut up.

"I told you, I liked them and it's not like you were going to wear the dress!"

"Quit it!" I shout once again, causing the females to shut their tramp.

Once both compose themselves, I speak, "I got my memories back."

Someone still doesn't like me but at least, she doesn't want to kill me now.

Now that I notice, she looked different.

"Are they okay?" Of course, everyone notices me ignoring Darius but doesn't remark at anything while Darius himself is ready to break the pen in his hand.

I nod slowly.

"We have to go see them!" I turn to run out when I am grabbed from the back of my neck and pushed down on the ground.
