Clayton.

I take Leila into my private room, and she is in awe, as she looks around. Extremely thick walls. Made in a special material to withstand the strength of a Lycan. It's the material every Lycan in the world uses to build their house.

The palace where lives the royal family of Lycans is made up of this material, and it doesn't hurt that my father was the brother to the king. For a good number of years, I was a palace warrior until I asked my uncle to let me go and roam the earth too.

My family consists of my dad, Duke Daniel Alphonso Hall, my mom, Duchess Diana Hall, my younger sister, Cassandra Isabella Hall, Cassie for short. My uncle, King Mikhail Stephen, his mate, aunt Melody Stephen, and their son, the crown prince Lorenzo Gray Stephen. And my brother from another womb, the grandson of the principal chief of security of the palace, Archer Lincoln. We served the royal family together before taking a break. We finally succeeded after about ten times of trying, and I'm very proud of her. Some Lycans take years to master this. And if a Lycan hasn't mastered metamorphosis, he or she is not allowed to leave the royal grounds or Pack if I can say so. Yet here we are, my mate did it after just a few trials.

So, I'm happy we're done with that. All that is remaining is the energy control. The aura she releases even when angry must be controlled.

So, we will be working on her self-control. The transformation is the most difficult part to do, whereas energy control is an everyday thing. You master the transformation only once, but you have to get a hold of yourself every day, at any given time.

I get up from the bed after pecking Leila on her temple and move to the sofa in the far corner of the room.

I grab Archer's number and deal. It rings for a long time and when I'm sure it will go to voicemail, he finally picks up.

“Lord Clayton… Long time no see. How are you, my friend?” I hear Archer say, but I mostly hear the moans of a woman.

“Are you kidding me, Archer? Talking to me while you're fucking some woman?” I say exasperated. The death of his love has turned him into a character. Nothing in a dress that has a pussy moves past this dick lately.

We had opposite reactions to losing our love. I became angry and lonely, while Archer was skipping from one woman to another. I won't be his judge though, before meeting Kayla, I was just as bad. “Damn.” That is all he says afterward.

“Ok, big man. See you in two days. And be careful with that dick of yours now.” I say hanging up without giving him a chance to reply.
