Chapter 1 Get Married in Your Sister’s Stead

“Are you asking me to marry the man who’s paralyzed in the lower half of his body in Sienna’s stead? No! I’m not doing it!”

Rebecca Chambers never thought that she would encounter such a ridiculous thing as soon as she returned to her home, the Chambers Residence.

Benjamin Chambers looked troubled. “Rebecca, just agree to it on the account of me bringing you back from the village. Your sister is about to be engaged to the young master of the Stewart Family. Do you want your sister to cheat on Mr. Stewart?”

Rebecca looked at her grandmother’s figure in the photos. Anger accumulated in her chest as she clenched her fists tightly.

Two months ago, her grandmother passed away unexpectedly after visiting the city. That was why Rebecca was asked to return from the village.

Moreover, Rebecca only agreed to return to the Chambers Residence so that she could investigate the truth behind her grandmother’s death.
